Sep 21st 2009 11:38PM I have seen bots in AV for over 2 years. They bot programmers keep updating the code for auto-join battlegrounds, moving around (or not) in the battleground, etc. I'm not going to tell specifics but you don't have to actually move around in order to not be considered AFK. I personally reported a 2300+ person last season but they continually joined AV after AV, even though they had the 'inactive' debuff. Opening tickets didn't seem to matter either, although the GM's seemed very interested.

The people that level in AV are hilarious when they start trying to do level 80 heroics in their level 60-something greens.

To the people that buy the programs to bot: You are the the ones who will get your account hacked by the same people who sell gold. I see at least one hacked account per day on my server and I report every one of them. The GM's are taking over 14 hours to respond to open tickets but they do take care of the hacked account, as I do verify via the friends list and/or armory. Most of the hacked accounts are used to mine underground using the teleport hack, but I have seen variations of the hack over the last 4 weeks.

Thank you for the article!

Nov 11th 2008 11:02PM Regarding the realms being down for an extended period today, Zarhym said:

"Our decision was to enable players to continue playing World of Warcraft before the opening of Wrath of the Lich King."

LOL What? That's over 24 hours away; a no brainer decision indeed. Does this decision go against his decision to incorrectly predict the servers were going to be up on time today, then later incorrectly predict several more times the servers were really going to be up?

I must be missing something. All work and no play makes JT a dull boy.
