Jul 9th 2010 11:28PM That screenshots reminded me that Blizzard never got around to replacing that placeholder model of Ysera in Dragonblight. She's always just been a stock green dragon.
Jul 5th 2010 12:07AM As far as old Azeroth curiosities, I'm curious as to the origins of the giant snake-like skeletons in the Valley of Bones in southern Desolace.
Since Desolace is getting overhauled in Cataclysm, I wonder if they'll address those remains. I really like how Azeroth is still marred by the signs of the ancient battle between the Old Gods and Titans.
Jun 11th 2010 5:45AM I'll miss bouncing on the roofs of those peoples' houses when running from the Portal location.
Jun 7th 2010 9:28AM I'm more than willing to wait longer to make the experience sweeter. Wrath was good, but I couldn't shake the feeling that it wasn't quite finished. I think there was a post on this site about a bunch of ideas for Wrath that Blizzard didn't have time to implement.
Take Burning Crusade. It really felt like a well-rounded and whole experience.
May 31st 2010 12:25PM Like I said. When I pull threat it's with something massive, like a crit from Prayer of Healing.
A temporary reduction in threat isn't usually enough to break the aggro lock. Usually I just stand on top of the tank and spam him with Binding Heal until he takes aggro back.
May 30th 2010 10:19PM From my experience, when I pull aggro, I pull it hard. It doesn't matter what class I'm playing or what threat reduction spell I use. Whether it be fade, soul shatter, hand of salvation, etc, most threat reduction abilities lack the "oomph" to drop my threat to safe levels. Only threat clearing abilities like invisibility or feign death are worthwhile.
That's why I almost never use fade when I'm healing on my priest.
May 30th 2010 7:57PM If this is indeed farther in the future than current WoW, then I can assume the land is healing because the demon threat from the portal to Outland has been averted. If this is the case, then how will leveling players get to Outland? Wouldn't it be weird to have things all peaceful on the Azeroth side and then still see the desperate battle going on on the other side?
May 29th 2010 1:44PM The thought of all those centaur, scorpions, and Silithid drowning under the waves fills me with glee.
May 25th 2010 1:46AM I, for one, certainly hope that the human models are updated before Cataclysm. It'd be really weird switching from the flashy, state-of-the-art Worgen to a six-year-old model that looks like a walking mannequin.
May 25th 2010 1:39AM That's how I've felt about several of their screenshots. A lot of them look like they were taken in Coilfang Reservoir.
