Jan 10th 2012 6:19PM This doesn't seem like confirmation.
Bashiok is saying 'Yes' he can confirm OR deny. And then he adds the information *we already knew* about there being a Diablo 3 console team which may or may not have anything to do with confirming it *will* be a console release.
This has been done many times. It's just his style.
I would be waiting for an official yes before you start flooding the internet with 'confirmations' based on assumption and comprehension of tweets.
Oct 9th 2010 11:28PM What I want to know is, why the misinformation? A balance of Haste and Agility is still the killer setup for enhancement, as it has been Haste/AP for the last 3 tiers of content, and all the while this varies depending on your current Haste value. This is what sims are for.
Why must WoW.com bloggers do this? Do you have any idea how detrimental your misinformed posts are to the community at large? Posts like this one breed BAD players.
People also need to understand that many item's socket bonuses are *not* optimal to maintain. I know you're not the greatest enhancement Shaman around Stoney, but you're famous, even more so since you went live with Big Crits, people expect you to be giving accurate information. Please do your research more thoroughly. >_

That's probably because there's not going to be enough stock for Amazon to allocate all of their backorders for collectors editions, so their system is automatically giving you an estimated date based on a delayed second shipment (which will never be filled).
In short: You're probably not going to get a collector's edition, since you left it so late (August is very late to be ordering a CE of a WoW expansion that's due 3 mths later) to order yours.
I am of course just guessing, however as I work in the IT distribution industry, and deal with Activision's Australian arm on a daily basis, I can honestly say there is still NO official release date, and therefore my presumptions are quite likely to be accurate about your (very late) backorders. :(
Sep 30th 2010 1:33AM @Pauguster - Yes, I did read the article, unlike the person I replied to, who thought that Gorehowl had been used in the game, rather than it merely being a misguided suggestion by Mr. Sacco. :)
Perhaps you can read between the lines a little better yourself my friend.
Sep 29th 2010 9:05PM Uhh no, they chose Frostmourne. Why would they use Hellscream's Axe?
What are you talking about?
Sep 29th 2010 9:03PM The Lich King also appears in the game as a playable unlockable character (under the name 'Arthas Menethil' for some silly reason, and we all know that Arthas ceased to exist when he became good ol' Lichy Poo).
I dislike the fact that Activision are pushing out this sort of cross-game promotion, without offering something in reverse. I want a damn murloc with a guitar pet! :P

Sep 4th 2010 10:11PM I think Shaman players all over the world are having trouble understanding the wording of the Lightning Shield glyph tooltip.
"Your Lightning Shield can no longer drop below 3 charges from dealing damage to attackers."
Please take note of the TO ATTACKERS at the end.
This will have zero effect on static shock charges, as those are seperate from the mechanic used when an attacker damages you.
In conclusion, the new Lightning Shield glyph is a PvP glyph only.
I was excited too until I read it properly.
Mar 16th 2010 7:21PM I would definately not be advocating throwing Emblems of Frost away on the cloak or the belt as there are *far* better itemised options available for free in 10 man Icecrown.
That's a bad bad idea for the 'starting' shaman this article is aimed at.
You also neglected to list Spark of Life from H HoS, as someone else mentioned, considering it is near best in slot until ToGC, it's rather amazing for a blue iLevel 200 trinket.
You also probably could have mentioned the rehashed Sapphiron Drape variants (Cloak), and the Scale trinkets from the new Onyxia's Lair, as they are as easy to get your hands on as any other item you've listed.
Feb 21st 2010 2:51AM I personally just use custom MSBT triggers with custom sounds for Flame Shock and Stormstrike debuffs dropping off my target, Maelstrom stacking to 5, Elemental shields and weapon imbues being down and Fire Nova becoming available.
Sound effects alone, once you take the time to train yourself to tune in to each one, are all you will ever need, and will significantly improve your reaction speed with regards to utilising your priority list correctly.
