Mar 15th 2012 2:20PM There's just a little problem with that Horde symbol to his right, and all that wargear...he's not exactly dressed the way a Space Jesus of peace would dress.
Mar 15th 2012 1:52PM If it's gone meta it's only because the argument has been settled: Yes, the devs are biased.
Mar 15th 2012 1:26PM His complaint about our own personal green-skinned Space Jesus seemed rather mild, actually.
Mar 15th 2012 1:19PM Yeah, I'll be the first to admit that my gear wasn't helping the dps levels at all (I was there to gear up!), but it irked me no end that the pug blamed my priest--with a 45-second interrupt cooldown--for a Tyrande wipe, then kicked him the very moment the 15-minute timer expired. Really, no one else could interrupt? And yes, my /ignore list grew last night, too.
Maybe I'm just ticked because I can't recall any Twilight bosses that are troublesome to physical dpsers, but Tyrande and Asira are a nightmare for casters. Doesn't matter how well you know the fight, no matter what tricks you might try, if you're a caster you might as well alt-tab out and check your e-mail until it's over.
Mar 15th 2012 12:52PM "a problem with blizzard being professional and keeping perspective"
That issue was highlighted very clearly at the 2011 Blizzcon. We'd spent months trading conspiracy theories about dev favoritism while piecing together fragmentary clues like crazily obsessive X-Files/Alias/Lost fans...and then they came out on stage in Horde T-shirts and shouted "For the Horde".
Way to drag the conspiracy theories kicking and screaming out of the closet, guys.
Mar 15th 2012 12:43PM Ah, I saw it as players' attitudes and performance degrading over time even though the content stays the same.
I complained to my brother last night that the Twilight 3 are starting to turn into the "sewers" the original Cata heroics have become and he said it was due to "expansion fatigue"--folks are giving up on making any effort to get the shinies, because they know they'll be replaced by quest greens in a few short months.
"Lame duck" would be a more appropriate comparison, but good luck turning that into a short, boffo phrase.
Mar 15th 2012 12:14PM Space Jesus, that is.
Mar 15th 2012 12:13PM I think they were taking that opportunity, too.
Mar 15th 2012 12:12PM Oh, you want to get into BG favoritism? How about all the times the countdown stage ended for my Alliance group with the Horde symbol.
And why is it that the skinner/first aid/herbalist quest-giver at the Faire sent my Alliance characters off with "For the Horde"?
