May 1st 2009 1:38AM How about making hybrid dps classes just a little squishier and/or a little less useful on the aggro dump. Sure let them do good dps but needing to be damm good players.
You could also make it easier for 'pure dps' classes to go through the leveling process.
With the extra functionality should require extra to skill to master. Still allow hybrids to be damm good just a little more tricky to play.
Apr 15th 2009 1:25AM I think the whole thing about account sharing is to do with how invested we are in our virtual persona.
It may be a fair assumption to say that to level to 80 and become an officer you have a lot invested in your persona.
However, surely I'm not the only one that has seen a trusted person abuse the trust.
You can not control these peoples behavior. You need to moderate the risk if you are concerned by it.
I remember being kicked out of a 5 man when i was level 18 on my lock on a guild run. Guy whispered me and said to long to run back from graveyard. Turned out he was a valued member's brother. An founding member on the run raised it with the officer's and the was his' brothers action was effectively his and dealt with it accordingly.
But i believe the threat from account hacking and personal circumstances changing (alcohol) are bigger risks.
Perhaps guilds need to monitor officers web browsing and security procedures :)
All in all its a game where we place trust in strangers. You will find idiots, con artists and users everywhere.
Don't let it get you bent out of shape. Most people, including there friends and families are good.
