Apr 21st 2011 2:57PM Due to the anti-bot restrictions, I don't think addons can craft all the sub-parts and then the item with one click.
Skillet (which I commented on below) will auto-queue all of the sub-components (including smelting, if you have it, for instance) and you have to hit the "Process" button on each new item. Still a pain, but better than having to manually queue/create each piece individually.
Apr 21st 2011 2:52PM Not for nothing, but Skillet (http://wow.curse.com/downloads/wow-addons/details/skillet.aspx) has been my trade skill replacement of choice for awhile now. It allows all kinds of sorting, queuing with sub-requirements, etc. It also will tell you if you have the materials in the guild bank or on an alt as well.
Just an option. :)
Apr 6th 2011 10:38PM As always, a lot of posters are missing the point.
I have one tank of each class at 85, and the reason I won't do anything outside of guild runs is because of HORRID dps. How do I define horrid dps, you ask?
2) Pulling for me while I wait for the healer/casters to get mana.
3) Ignoring repeated attempts to interrupt that ^@%$#@%$& Force Grip.
4) Ignoring the kill order
5) Etc etc etc..
It's not that aren't any tanks. It's just that we're tired of being abused.
Mar 17th 2011 3:14PM It's called Raven.
Mar 4th 2011 12:41PM I've tried. I've really, really tried.
I have one of each class at 80+ with the exception of my 70 rogue, 64 shaman and 40 warlock. Since I can't raid, my goal for this expansion is to get one of every class to max level and have a maxxed (with shard/leather etc- vendor patterns) profession of each type.
Warlocks were my bane. Rogue would've been my response here, but with the incoming Stealth changes, my biggest complaint (movement) is largely going away for rogues.
But Warlocks... Aff is fun end-game, but at the early levels it's just too slow. I think rather than Unstable Affliction, Haunt would've been a better choice for the defining spell. The problem with UA is that even if you cast it first, the mob's going to die at early levels well before it has run it's course, so you just wasted mana on it.
Demonology has always felt clunky. Yes, it's awesome to get the Fel Homie at level 10, BUT... I found myself not being able to loot most mobs because the FG killed them before I could get a 2.9 sec shadow bolt off. Occasionally even before I could get the first Corruption tick to happen. Just... clunky.
Destro... ah Destro. This tree has, in my opinion, gone through the largest change as far as levelling is concerned. Conflag at 10 gives you extra punch early, and by the time you hit 35 or so and realize that Immolate + Conflag + Backdraft means you can cast 1.7 sec Shadow Bolts, you're mowing through things faster than you'd think possible.
So I've found something to love in every class, but warlocks and rogues have been my toughest challenges.
Jan 21st 2011 12:27PM Pet Peeve: Blizzard not grouping me with ANY of you. Ever. /sadpanda
I get kicked from many, many groups because I don't heal people that won't eat between pulls. I won't heal dps that think the tank's too slow (because he/she's marking CC targets instead of insta-pulling). And I get kicked all the time for not pulling fast enough as the tank because I'm either 1) Marking or 2) Letting my dps and/or healer drink for mana.
Please Blizzard, give us a cross-realm friends list.
Nov 17th 2010 11:48AM "You wake up in Razor Hill...."
Dusk is a goddamn genius.
Oct 25th 2010 3:43PM My first toon was a hunter, and I got tired of the pew pew after raiding through BC. About two months before BC, I rolled a paladin strictly with the idea of making him a tank. Anyone can dps, but it takes a special (twisted) kind of person to stand in front of the bad guys and say, "Hey! Over here knucklehead, pay no mind to the librarian throwing boulders of fire at you, HIT ME!". I was that guy.
So, having followed my friends to Horde-side, I rolled my very own red-headed nancyboy-looking Blood Elf Paladin and named him... Coward. Awesome. Got him to 80 about a month after Wrath launched and promptly found myself getting abused by not only the mobs, but by the random groups I was in. Only my ex-wife had ever made me twitch the way I twitch when I zone into a LFG dungeon and immediately see "GOGOGOGOGOGO". /twitch
After burning out on tanking, I decided to try Holy spec. I put down my shield, picked up a different shield, put on a bunch of Shaman gear (sorry guys) and set about healing things... with two buttons. No. This wasn't what I wanted. What other classes healed? Shaman? No.. I wanted to play a shaman, but not for green lazers. Oh no... one word: STORMSTRIKE. 'Nuff said.
Priest? Hm... I can do that. Rolled a hot brunette Blood Elf lady (I'm sorry, when I think of a Forsaken undead casting Holy anything, I imagine a big *POOF* and ashes floating down.. can't get past it) and started Smiting everything in my path. Got to 10, did some research and found the Energizer Bunny Smite Spec™, courtesy of the forums at wowhead. Smiteamoted my way to 40, whereupon I respecced Shadow and melted faces to 70. At that point I was done flaying minds, so I respecced again to Disc. Decent firepower, good healing (if avoidance of damage can be called that).
Now at 80, I'm specced Holy/Disc with a focus on Holy. I love me some bubbles as much as the next fellow, but I have to tell you... something about Circle of Healing, Prayer of Healing, and now Chakra just does it for me. We might not have the tricks of disc, but for raw healy POWER? Holy is the way to go.
Long story short: Priest heal because Cowards can't. :)
Jul 22nd 2010 4:07PM ArkInventory will also track almost all of those things... though perhaps not the mail. I'd have to check, but I'm at work. :/
Jul 6th 2010 7:28PM And third. Vuh'do has made healing so much easier.
Now if only I could find a better theme for it...
