Feb 27th 2009 1:31PM Actually it is not gonna be that easy anymore.
Dual Specs will most likely lead to people being required to fulfill different roles based on the encounter, especially tanks and healers. Thus in a fight that requires only one tank and no offtank, the latter would switch to dps, or a in fight requiring one less healer that one would switch to dps as well.
The lines between main and off specs will blur, and how will you justify denying someone who had to heal or tank half the instance and dps the other half access to gear he would need to fulfill one of those roles?

Really? So, if purchase a magazine, it does not contain any ads? If you go to the cinema, there'll be no ads before the film starts? Or if you bought a ticket to a game of your favorite sports club, you won't see ads from their sponsors if you go to the game?

Seriously, Blizzard has every right to make money from their games. They're not obliged to offer them at minimal costs either. Anyone who'd really be bothered by ads at login could just quit, as they're neither forced to play the game nor is the game an essential good to survive...

A critical look at WoW's zombie issues {Massively}

Oct 27th 2008 3:28PM It's rather interesting how what some people call griefing is exactly what a scourge event is supposed to be like. Zombies attack people, regardless of whether they want to participate in the event or not. I wonder if people would react the same if the scourge wasn't spread by players but only by NPCs.
It's just the kind of dynamic development so many people have been crying out for, and it's completely in line with the story behind WotLK. However, you cannot have a dynamic environment without accepting the fact that it means change...
