I know the grainy, echoing voice of the lich king gets really old really fast, but this totally makes up for it. hearing him let loose like that sends shivers down my spine. skip to 1:10 and 1:30 for epic rage.
Mar 6th 2009 9:53AM One of my all time favorites? Skadi the Ruthless :D
I know, i know. i can hear the collective groan of the wow community as they remember all their times wiping over and over on this crafty mofo with pug's.
Personally, I just love the gauntlet type stuff. Running headlong into a perpetual tidal wave of crazed undead vrykul just makes me wanna /charge every time i do it. plus, u actually have to think during this fight (unlike most wotlk heroic bosses) even if it's just making sure harpoons are being fired and watching out for the grauf breath (somehow this is still too much for some ppl :P).
even during the actual fight against the boss himself u have to be on ur toes, considering that when he lands, his threat just goes to the closest person (god forbid the healer) and the fact that even as a ranged u better make damn sure u get away from that ww.
all in all, it's just a fun/simple fight with guildies/experienced players and usually hell on earth for noob pugs
Mar 4th 2009 9:00PM bullshit bullshit bullshit, GC....
are you even playing the same game? i agree with you that huntards are raping dps meters at this point, but rogues? mages? warlocks? give me a break.
given what i've seen (might be different from what others have seen), rogues and mages have a good chance of topping meters if they are geared, have a decent spec, and know their spell/ability rotations. locks are kinda screwed in that they can have all of the above and still get passed by the 3 aforementioned classes with ease :P
oh and i lolled my ass off when you said "If you know your class cold, I mean really know it, then there is no reason you can't be topping meters." I bet u tell that little joke to all your dev buddies and they just laugh and laugh don't they? too bad the ele shamans, enh shamans, spriests, fury warriors, boomkin druids, and feral druids aren't laughing huh? no they're too busy getting out dps'ed by hunters with crappier gear than them.
So GC, how about instead of just throwing mages, rogues, and warlocks in one bunch with roflstomp hunters and pretending that the gap between the "top 4 dps classes" and the rest is small, u actually take a look and see that mages, rogues and warlocks just do excellent dps on some boss fights more than others and that hunters dominate EVERY SINGLE FIGHT. as for the rest of the dps classes? they get left out in the cold as they probably will be forever thanks to you.
Jan 22nd 2009 2:12PM ...and after that we'll have and interview with a whiny little douchebag who bitches and moans when things don't exactly his way all the time. His name's TonyMotorola, and his story's at 12, stick around...

I totally agree. The trade chat was constantly flooded with QQ'ers whining about how they couldn't turn their quests in right at that moment like the world (of warcraft) revolves around them. As one astute observer on my server noted: "war has come to warcraft, and everyone's bitching about it."
While I disagree with you about ur assumption that Blizz brought the event to a halt because of "OMGZ I HATE TEH ZOMBIES, NICE GOING BLIZZ /CRY", I do agree that it was ended prematurely. It should have gone down with something like, u go to putress and he's like "dood, i makes cure for teh plague! take this shit and go throw it at some zombies!" that would at least make the end of the event a little more player-involved rather than the sudden disappearance of said zombies.
A final note on zombie QQ:
IMO, if u get mad because can't turn in some stupid quest that you do everyday because an ingenious and unique once in a lifetime opportunity ate ur quest giver's brains, u seriously need to take a moment and realize that wow is supposed to be about trying new things and having fun, not the monotony of doing that retarded "see spectral shit in nagrad for harbinger haronem's lazy ass."
