Nov 23rd 2010 1:57PM Are the forsaken getting a new model option? If so, I will be rolling a dark ranger type in no time! Who am I kidding, I'll roll a forsaken hunter regardless, but having the option for an undead belf would be awesome.
Jul 14th 2010 11:56AM I was a little worried when I heard about the major re-working of the talent trees, but I have to say I'm feeling pretty good about the Warlock trees so far. A Hellfire that no longer hurts me, that I can buff to be 10 yards larger AND can cast while moving? Yes please. They should rename the spell to "Unholy fiery nova of unending burning pain and agony" Yeah, the tooltip will be a little long, but I think it's an appropriate name for a spell that used to be 'neat' and will now be 'AWESOME'!
If this is the direction the rest of the warlock trees will go, then my worries have been laid to rest. Hopefully the rest of the classes will get similar treatment, but if not I'm cool with that, I will just "Unholy fiery nova of unending burning pain and agony" you all to death, a deep-golden, crispy death.
Jun 9th 2010 12:36PM Thanks for this beginner's guide! I have an 80 priest dual specced as shadow and holy, but my main is a warlock which I've been playing for ages. My poor priest was feeling unloved, so I recently (yesterday) decided to try healing again. I was feeling overwhelmed and lost, and voila! Here's this great intro to healing guide, almost as if you knew I needed it.
I decided to run reg Utgaarde Pinnacle to re-associate myself with the healer spells, thinking that this lowbie instance would be a breeze and forgiving on my novice skills. I was in for a shock, I was terrible! So bad that halfway through the druid asked if I wanted him to heal. I wasn't kicked, probably because I didn't cause a wipe. Shamefaced, I agreed and switched to shadow. Needless to say, I have a lot of practice ahead of me as far as healing!
Also, thanks to all the comments, I have since installed grid + clique, but I will try healbot as well. This noob may become a decent healer yet!
May 18th 2010 1:15PM The white raptor looks like awesomesauce. (Is it just me, or does it glow in the dark?)
Apr 15th 2010 5:42PM My warlock rolls his eyes and scoffs at this mount, but my priest is as giddy as a schoolgirl! *bounce*
Apr 8th 2010 11:02AM Or maybe a spell similar to the DK army of the dead, except we get several imps that pop up and start shooting the target? Or better yet, Infernal Storm where several infernals plummet from the sky and stun the enemies, then run around tearing up enemies for several seconds. OP? Possibly, but in my humble opinion so is Army of the Dead. Just sayin'. If need be, have a long cooldown on it so we can't use it constantly, but it would be an awesome spell to pull out in dire situations.
Apr 8th 2010 10:50AM Interesting changes to the 'lock class, so far I like what I see! As far as another pet goes, I'd be thrilled with a permanent Infernal. To me nothing says bad-ass like walking around with one of those trailing behind. If they added a little screen shake as he walked by that would only increase the bas-assery.
The only reservation I have, as a lock player, is how the soul shard system will work. I'm a little worried about there not being a way for them to refresh while in combat; how many times have you experienced the "still in combat" bug when you're not?! I have that happen fairly often, and if that rears its head while trying to do PVP that could determine the direction the fight is going. I reserve final judgement until I actually get to play with the new changes, but it would be nice if they refreshed on a timer, like the DK runes.
Mar 30th 2010 10:15AM Since I play a Forsaken, it would be funny to see a tiny undead pony, complete with horns. Awe, soooo cute!
