Sep 26th 2011 1:53PM Q for the Q.
Why is there loads of hype over microtransactions? All I think of when I think about them, is unbalanced game play from one person getting loads of stuff from microtransactions.
I think that blizz realise this and will probably keep Monthly subscription. Simply it seems to be best way to play. Makes a constant amount of money so allows them to keep game going and best patch data. It also makes it predictable for the gamer to manage expenditure. Afterall what if patches were micro transaction?
I think its just better that microtransactions stick with how wow does. some funny companion pets, but vast majority of things ingame.
Whats your opinion?

Jul 21st 2009 12:22PM bill my comment does apply because it is about what people dnt wanna be done to them, people dont wanna hear about religion in work so they ban mentioning it. Im just trying to say that equality should allow both beliefs if someone wants to mention that they are doing something then others should be able to question it, to flame and hate them is another matter but to say that saying being gay is wrong is homophobia like the group seems to say is a misnomer of the word, a phobia is a fear so by definition saying something is wrong is a personal view and not a fear. If people cant say being gay is wrong like this group believe then shouldnt everyone be banned from saying stealing is wrong etc, they are both moral views, if you dont share with someone doesnt make them wrong.
TBH this whole PC thing is balls. Its all gone to far, i understand people not trying to get hurt but wen the miniority groups get special powers like one guy i no got petrol bombs in his letter box and the police say you should move cus u live in a religious area or when saying nursery ryhmes are wrong. People cant take being pushed, now being beaten is a different matter but all of this im right i should have rights is balony, if you want rights you should earn them. Just because we tolerate you doesnt mean what you are doing is right. Maybe these self rights groups should consider if what they believe is wrong, especially when they portray a NEW view from a Modern world especially wen all this hate can change how you see things
Jul 21st 2009 12:07PM also@ talonal, you take it out of proportion, a lot of what God said in old testement with eating and treatment of others is to do with viruses and illnesses as well, the food we know no would have been alergic for soem like shellfish wasnt eaten to protect others, also while in the new testement says all are forgiven all sins in old testement are still sins, they are just forgiven through christ, like if a store keeper says i forgive you for stealing from them, that doesnt make it right.
Jul 21st 2009 12:04PM to add to my previous statement, isnt it rediculous wen someone says or acts like their rights are more important than everyone who isnt part of their groups rights, like i see on their sight that Xbox ban anyone who mentions orientation, anyone think this is to stop hate crime?
At the end of the day, people have a thing against these groups mainly because they say we are here, we accept that and understand we cant change you, then you want more rights than someone else, like to say im right and all else are wrong and to have the protection that no one can say anything against me, and this is whats wrong.
Its wrong for religion to do it and for everyone else to do it, but somehow the media think these other minority groups can do it? You want equality, stop chasing for things like 'Attention' or 'Protection' from peoples views. Because then others can go and say, they dont accept my view now and have it work all against you.
To clarify tho a view is personal, which means you shouldnt FORCE it on someone, gays wanna say in the media they should have equal rights, fine i can tolerate that, if religion can say that they think its wrong. I mean nowadays you can say Gays should be tolerated but you cant say Jesus is the saviour, if one cant be said then both shouldnt be allowed. Thats proper equality. I dnt mind being beaten as much as long as everyone else is, but thats how it should be, want freedom of view? let others have it as well.
Jul 21st 2009 11:47AM I think this issue is a joke really, this game is a game, if people cant play nice ban them, but equality for race/religion and sexuality isnt needed, people shouldnt have any recognision of their religion or anything wen playing, just accept them as a person and not what they believe, I have to admit im religious and im sick of tired of this RIGHTS stuff that goes around, i have human rights to believe what you are doing is rong, and u can believe its right, but if i think its rong i should have the ability to say so especially if you want to be able to broadcast as right, we live in a democracy so we should have opposites being allowed to be said. Does this mean i hate them or dislike the person, no of course not, they could be a good friend, but i just think they are doing wrong things, like when a friend steals things from the local store.
