Mar 4th 2011 6:25PM A very manly staff should have Strength and Stam and be for Druid tanks.
Feb 20th 2011 7:50AM Yet another article that advises players to play their preference. WoW Insider seems to be littered with these. I don't mean to be an ass, but if there isn't much to say on a subject, then why write the article? The credibility of the site suffers just so that an author has an article to turn it. This is a great site. Please don't fill it with fluff.
Feb 13th 2011 6:40PM I know that I was very happy the first time I got close to the demon teleporters in Helfire Peninsula (near the dark portal) because they were making the same sound that the Tardis makes when it lands. Since then Blizzard has added a similar sound to one of the arcane mage spells. I get a kick out of it every time I hear it.
Feb 1st 2011 3:56PM I find these profession articles a bit redundant. There's almost never a clear winner (and there shouldn't be if Blizzard is doing things right), so all they end up doing is presenting the same information (barring any patch changes), then advising readers to make a choice based on preference. I would hope that by 85 most players already know that you can get bigger bonuses with 2 crafting skills, if you are willing to buy mats, or farm them with an alt.
Jan 27th 2011 8:47AM To me it's a pretty simple concept to explain. I tell people that I'm on a team. It's really not a different dynamic than a sports team. When people say "it's just a game" I respond by saying "so is football, or hockey". We put as much time, effort (although not physical), and planning into the game as members of any sports team do (if not more), and our raids are just as important to the entire team as any sports game is to that team. People may not understand the draw for us, but I can tell you I've never really understood fighting on skates with the occasional burst of puck chasing that so many people are obsessed with.
Jan 16th 2011 12:12PM They have such great abs from licking their privates all day long.
Jan 5th 2011 9:06AM I have a few characters with names that I didn't make up out of thin air. I play lots of characters and have quite few favourite names.
I have a Draenei shaman named "Narune" When I first saw Draenei they reminded me a bit of the Minbari from Babylon 5. There was a Minbari warrior named Neroon, and his name was the inspiration for my shaman.
I also have a Tauren Shaman on my horde server with the name Staurm. I thought it was a clever combination of the word Storm, and Tauren.
My undead priest's name is "Rictis". It would have been rictus but that was taken. I'm kind of glad that it was since I ended up getting the same sound, while making it a bit more like a name than a word.
I have a troll rogue named "Sinista" I was really happy about thinking that one up.
I use the name "Stane" for DKs when I can manage it. I like the idea that a DK's soul has been stained by the Lich King.
Finally I use the names Thornclaw, or Thorntalon for my druids. The one I currently play is a tauren named Thorntalon.
Jan 3rd 2011 8:00AM This would be awesome!
Jan 2nd 2011 10:40AM Damn, this would be nice!
