That is me to the dot. I missed both Ulduar (my favorite Raid from what little I did do) and ICC do to RL commitments, and the rare mounts always eluded me.
Aug 23rd 2010 3:58PM @thundrcracker Though waves would be nice, I too have seen more than my share of "glass" oceans. This phenomena seems to occur most often when I decide to go surfing for some reason... /facepalm.
Mar 13th 2010 1:30PM Actually, it can be either a noun (a myriad of uses) or an adjective (myriad uses). The statement "auctioneer has a myriad uses," is incorrect because the article "a" denotes the noun usage of the term, which would require "of." Some argue the adjective usage is the only correct one, but merriam webster's claims the noun is in fact older.
Dec 8th 2009 9:12PM I'm going to assume this Dewayne guy is a persistent teenage troll.
Otherwise, why the HELL are you playing this game let alone browsing a FANsite if you hate everything about it. I don't understand people like you, though that may be because a give most people the benefit of a doubt and assume they aren 't completely ignorant.
Dec 8th 2009 6:11PM Likewise. I have been trying to put the finishing touches on a paper for hours, only to be distracted by 3.3 hype.
Curse you blizzard for releasing the biggest patch of the expansion smack in the middle of finals. I'm sure other college wow players are in the same boat, trying to keep on track with finals, but not wanting to miss the 3.3 goodness.
Dec 7th 2009 7:24PM Wow, that looks great. I've always wanted to get into metalcrafting/blacksmithing, maybe now I'll get off my ass an take some classes.
Dec 7th 2009 2:15PM I think he means Reckoning as in the sword (Ally equivalent to Edge of Agony I believe).
But I for one think that such practice is highly situational. As Scott pointed out, it would be wrong for a raider to sell an item to the highest bidder, but I think this guy's case was alright.
The only problem I see is that it may lead to a sort of covert GDKP type of loot distribution, which would could create a sort of gear-oligarchy
Nov 5th 2009 10:47PM Interestingly enough, the realms will apparently remain playable during this maintenance.
Sep 9th 2009 5:41PM If one were to limit himself, as you claim to, to the exalted works of Verne, Twain, Tolkien, Lovecraft, and their ilk, I fear reading material would become quite scarce. True a steak may be a delicious well rounded meal, but that doesn't mean a bowl of ramen can't be enjoyable.
So, ease up on 'em man. Nothing wrong with a little light, digestible entertainment now and then.
May 5th 2009 11:48AM "Some say the world will end in fire, Some say in ice. From what I've tasted of desire I hold with those who favor fire. But if it had to perish twice, I think I know enough of hate to say that for destruction ice is also great and would suffice."
Nothing like some good poetry on a lazy tuesday in the stacks.
