Nov 19th 2010 9:16PM Actually I played ffxi for close to four years. As I said before, weapon and spell skilling were awful systems. The fact that square is maintaining those systems in Ffxiv is disturbing.
This game may bring out some trolls, but a lot of commenters are people like me who hoped that square had learned from their mistakes and were going to put out a decent game.
Nov 19th 2010 8:34PM Well, that's almost as bad. The random skill up crap, from weapon and magic skillups to crafting skillups were some of the worst parts about ffxi. Square needs to join us in this decade. Ffxiii was an abortion of a game and this doesn't seem much better. Meanwhile they release their good titles on handhelds and abandon their best series. If I was a shareholder, I'd be calling for blood.
Nov 19th 2010 7:40PM Even getting xp from killing things is random? This game seems worse and worse the more I read about it.

Jan 11th 2009 10:21AM This and everything else you see out on the web making fun of Wilford Brimley and the word "Diabeetus," has nothing to do with making fun of Diabetes and everything to do with making fun of Wilford Brimley's inability to correctly pronounce the word. I make fun of my Dad because he calls jeans "dungarees," usually while I'm wearing jeans, and never with the intention to make fun of pants made of denim.

Nov 3rd 2008 10:18AM Frankly, it sounded to me like TB, who is an untalented DB, at least as far as broadcasting goes, feels threatened by WIN leaving WoW Radio. It was childish of him to push that response statement onto my iPod as a WoW Insider show.
It's a shame that the Turpman won't be on anymore, but the show will go on without them. BRK and BBB both kick equal amounts of ass, so have them on as often as possible.
