Apr 6th 2009 4:01AM How could an engineer rest at a time like this anyway? We should probably be able to create mounts for our engineering pets too... or something else far fetched.
Apr 1st 2009 1:31AM If 10 man raids were just as challenging as 25's then it would be fine. This could only lead to more people getting geared in the long run. So make Tier gear available in 10/25 man raids and a few key pieces that are slightly better available in hardmodes for those hardcore guys that just have to be sporting something better than the norm.
This could cause blizzard to have to come out with more content or insane hardmodes (which is completely acceptable). I don't see any problem with this as long as blizz does not have any differences in tactics between the 10 and 25 man raid.
Being hardcore doesn't make you hardcore because of the gear you have. Truly being hardcore means doing something better than the other guy who has the same stuff as you through a means of skill and patience/practice. Give those guys more unique titles and mounts thats all they really need anyway. Give them something that will let them spawn Time-Lost Proto-Drakes whenever they please. Giving them better gear only makes the hard content easier for them. Whats so hardcore about that?
Mar 30th 2009 4:32AM Same I got the D2 set for my rogue except I use two Skullforge Reavers from Baron because they form an X on your back when sheathed and have a pretty purple glow. Empty your back slot and it's pretty much the best set a rogue can have.
...aside from the Shadowcraft set.

Mar 24th 2009 11:05PM Getting rid of the rating requirements would be great. Sure everyone would have the "best" pvp gear eventually but if they beefed up the point requirements it would make it harder (take longer) for non-hardcores to get it. When everyone else does catch up the hardcore guys that have been fighting the same fight for weeks and weeks won't even see those guys because their ratings will never catch up anyway.
PVP shouldn't be about the gear you have, it really needs to be about skill and the way you use your abilities. It'd be more like an FPS. n00bs still get owned by the hardcores and everyone is sporting basically the same equipment except possibly for the weapons they chose before they start. PVP 's main reward is bragging rights anyway and arena gives hardcore PVPers a way to do so by giving them titles and fancy mounts.
Oh and about the welfare epix from PVP to PVE and the other way around... just make the PVP epics useless in a raid zone and Tier gear useless in bgs and such. And of course they would have to implement a warning window that reminds you that the coffee you just bought is hot and that you should not spill it on yourself before entering bg or raid zones.

take the loot and ghetto hearth
worlds.com would then be considered loot ninjas and nobody would allow them in their instances anymore.
Feb 26th 2009 2:42AM Replica Undercity complete with carcass feasting buffet. You are only able to shovel food into your mouth with your hands while eating there.
Not to mention that you could have a green sludge floating pool for people to ride around on innertubes all day (out of the sun of course). And have the alchemy lab be a sweet bar to drink at before you go stumble into the pool.
Maybe even a flying mount ride around the park like those lifts you see around other theme parks with different mount themed carts.
Sign me up. I'm ready to feast.
Feb 25th 2009 1:48AM You do get your own trinket. Not to mention that it's one of the best trinkets in the game. Get popping on those cards and put yourself together a deck.
Feb 24th 2009 8:47PM engineer reporting in... whats that? a flash light?
Feb 10th 2009 2:41PM They'd probably have to make some flying animations for the raven lord. Which would require more work for blizz and they don't like much that me thinks.
Buuutt... When will they make flying mounts able to be summoned in their ground forms (like the The Horseman's Reins) when only a ground mount is available to be summoned? Maybe when the Restricted Flight Area debuff is finished instead of parachuting you it will automatically put away the flying version of your mount then bring out the ground version so you can ride around Dalaran. Then everyone will be able to show off their Time-Lost Proto-Drakes and such without hovering over the bank or sitting afk at Krasus' Landing all day.
Obviously it can be done. I think that would be pretty sweet and give even more variety to the mounts you see people on when ground mounts are the only option. I've always wanted to be able to hover around on my Turbo-Charged Flying Machine in Kalimdor or Eastern Kingdoms.
Maybe one day since mounts seem to be getting all this attention now. I mean they'll all be swimming around the Frozen Sea soon anyway right?
