Mar 4th 2010 11:55PM Are you guys actually serious? You all must have no idea how companies actually work... The company is paying YOU to develop product for THEM. They are paying you to do so. If you don't like the terms... dont do it.
They knew they wouldnt get royalties because they created the product with activisions money, so they dont deserve anything. For instance, one of my friends designs gambling machines. He didnt recieve any royalties from the machines and games that he created, because if the company hadnt of funded his creation of said machines, he wouldnt have made them.
Activision will win, no doubt.
Mar 3rd 2009 5:06PM Questhelper already does this, so it looks like blizz may be going around and looking at useful features from useful addons and integrating them.
Feb 22nd 2009 5:44PM I think your right, society just caters to the lowest common denominator these days, but to be fair, its hardly Obamas world, hes laying the smack down on the banks he's helped, and hes only helping them so YOU dont lose all your money.
Anyway, back to the topic at hand:
The content is TOO easy, hard mode is okay, but TBH i would prefer another raid and have both more difficult, rather than just heroic hard mode ulduar or heroic easy mode ulduar. WoW might as well just not let you play, and just become a video that you watch and at the end of it you get free epics. Would be just as rewarding to me, and probably better for being drawn in etc.
Personally im in agreeance with Kanuris, the casuals just dont play as much. For me, my timeline of playing goes: Got WotLK > raced to 80 > did a tonne of heroics > cleared everything in a few weeks then did all achievements.
Nowadays, I only log in on raid days about 30 mins before raid to check stuff and make sure im ready. We only raid 2 days a week now because we clear everything in 2 nights, so really, am I a casual? If so, doesn't that point to the fact that if I can clear all content in 2 nights, that its easy epics?
Im not sure where blizz is going but if Ulduar is shite I may give up WoW and wait for the next gen MMO when things will actually be fresh, new, and different.
Feb 13th 2009 9:37PM Please dont forget america and its gluttonous greed is responsible for the economic crisis, so please, before saying that everywhere else is a "communist craphole" go fix your own problems.
Jan 28th 2009 4:38PM No one has actually mentioned that it is easier to just gear your hit for the rating you will need in 10-25 mans in the first place. 210 for alliance with shadowpriest and draenie in party, and ~237 for horde with shadowpriest. Gives you a lot more to work with.
Dec 18th 2008 6:23AM My guild (Brute Force, Aman'Thul) downed heroic malygos the first time a couple of weeks ago, im not sure whether anyone used this quest to practise, but I jumped in with them the other night and seemed easy enough, we got him down first time.
Definately worth looking into though, I hear that a lot of people are struggling with this encounter, and at the time of our kill only like 11% of guilds had killed him on heroic, so practise makes perfect peoples!
Dec 15th 2008 6:28PM As a rogue I find that I can now easily outdps any melee class of same gear level, though I find that the difference is that a lot of fights require melee to move around and even stop dps on targets due to retaliations, fears, stuns and more, which ultimately cause these melee classes to lose a chunk of dps while casters just pewpewpew through it.
Nov 6th 2008 4:56PM Its annoying that Oceanic people cant enter :( we're playing on the US setup too :(
