May 27th 2010 10:34PM A note to people setting this up...make sure you remember to cluster each and every one before optimizing :)
I accidentally forgot to cluster Sholazar before I tried optimizing and about 2 or 3 minutes later I found myself at the log in screen having disconnected :P I logged back in and clustered it first, and the optimization took about 10-15 seconds after that.
May 27th 2010 7:43PM Your group should have enough DPS to push him to astral phase before the third time stop wears off, even with the diminishing returns. Then with the down time during astral phase, there is plenty of time for drake A's time stop to go off CD so after the astral phase drake D time stops, Drake E time stops, drake A time stops again. Should be back to astral phase again and drakes B and C have their time stops off CD.
If you don't have the DPS to push him to astral phase before the 3rd time stop wears off, this strategy will not work real well. The idea is you KEEP him time stopped so he never has time to cast enrage or summon welps, as the ambers are terrible at handling damage and multiple targets. It's cake, and my group used the strat pre boss nerf of 3.3 and t9/ICC gear. Not meaning to sound like a douche, if it comes off that way, just trying to elaborate on why the strat works, even with the DR.
May 11th 2010 12:33PM So the information in this post is useless for the planning portion? You yourself say that planning out the process is highly important, so the information in this guide is helpful for planning that out correct? True, it is helpful to have an enchanter on your account, but not all do. Wow.com doesn't cater solely to the highest tier raider that has every profession covered on their account and their main simply switches to BiS profs as is needed...it also caters to the first time characters that may be interested in leveling their 1 mains second profession to something more useful for raiding than skinning...
You yourself admit that planning is a big part of power leveling cost efficiently. That doesn't mean finding and enchanter to DE your products isn't part of that planning. Get over yourself. This column was not useful for me personally, but that doesn't make its contents null and void for everyone.
Apr 6th 2010 10:53PM CC at range was fixed a long time ago via FF causing damge and a considerable amount of threat...assuming they aren't a caster of course.
FF now causes enough threat that it will EASILY out-threat a healer and a poor dps on a mob that is at range because we don't have any interrupts that aren't roots. Ranged damage is not an issue that needs to be addressed imo. The damage/threat on FF is more than sufficient assuming you don't have retarded dps...which a ranged silence, or even a non immobilizing silence, would completely resolve.

Worgen have the OPTION to look like humans out of combat. They aren't human by default.
Feb 22nd 2010 12:55PM Someone else said this, but it no longer drops you out of combat unless you are the very last one alive. The same is true for FD, invisibility, and vanish if I recall correctly. The change to drinking was done due to arenas I believe, but if you are the last one alive and don't have a damaging spell incoming, SM will still drop combat for you, it just doesn't when others are still alive. That has been the case for a while. Also, AoE damage will bring you out of SM obviously, which makes timing it to drop combat tricky in some situations. Talk to rogues about that, they've enjoyed "bugs" with Vanish for quite some time. Mostly it comes down to server side vs client side timing.
Jun 25th 2009 6:09PM "Replenishment was changed and will directly affect how Hunters will use Hunting Party. Before 3.2 Hunting Party would grant 0.25% of the Party or Raids Maximum Mana for 15 seconds. Now compare that to the proposed change where Hunting Party will grant 1% for 5 seconds. This seems like it will allow us to return about 1.5% Mana more than before."
It went from .25% mana every second to 1% over 5 seconds. It was a .25% mana/5 nerf.
Jun 22nd 2009 11:32AM It was my understanding that the only "reward" being added for people with the crusader title was the option to upgrade your squire. They seem to have shied away from requiring rep to run/complete instances/raids so I don't foresee that happening now.
Having said that...noone knows for sure at this point but Blizzard.
