Mar 17th 2011 4:17PM While the idea is a very practical one, and makes loads of sense from a gameplay aspect, It is almost the final step in the devolution of pets from a loyal companion who you had an attachment to and fought beside in battle, to a generic DoT NPC, abandonable, swappable and a complete commodity.
Most hunters don't even bother to name their pets now. Why would they? It has no personality or soul. Its just another number on the meters that must be maximised
