Apr 26th 2010 11:59AM I just got my Core i7 15" and just for my everyday use I haven't noticed it getting too hot. I keep it closed hooked up to a 27" Dell u2711 and run it with Synergy. It was suitable, however after going to a blackberry for a little while the unreliability of frequent calls/text messages was so utterly annoying. I went and got a Droid today and I am happy to know it is about as fast as my blackberry tour as far as messaging/push goes, however i am not super happy with the flatness of the keyboard as previously mentioned in engadget articles. Though, i still think it is the best Verizon phone I have owned (considering I have never owned an Eris.
