Mar 26th 2012 11:15AM Q4tQ: Has there been any additional info on account-wide achievements? As a rabid altoholic, I'm really looking forward to having all my achievements consolidated across my account, but I haven't really heard anything since a blue post a while back. Has anything down up in the beta yet?
Dec 15th 2009 1:04PM As a decently geared tank, I'll save their butts if they pull a mob instead of letting me do it. I'll politely ask them to let me pull since I'm the tank, and if they do it again, I let them tank it for as long as they want, and when they drop, I'll pick it right up. They normally either stop pulling or drop group.
Dec 8th 2009 3:23PM Haha, I'm working on studying for Intermediate Accounting and Intro to Tax. The WoW realm status page is my screensaver. Nice to be forced to do my homework every now and then. :D
May 5th 2009 2:27PM Although I believe this subject has been quite played out, at least it was a very well reasoned and presented article. Props for using the word "culpable".
May 4th 2009 10:40AM I believe Shaibachan is referring to the Paladin self-bubble that gives immunity for 10 seconds or whatever. Unless I missed a major change, that is indeed an aggro wipe that will usually result in a very quick group wipe. Tanks should never be using this ability.
As far the the shield-bubbles that come as a result as a heal, Jinjinn is correct: They no longer hinder rage/mana generation.
Pali self-bubble -> bad
Healer bubble -> good
Apr 10th 2009 1:12PM Assuming you only run 10-mans, how are these not upgrades for you? Pretty much, what this boils down to is 10-man guilds can't get the new "best-in-slot", and the players are whining. If you weren't running 25-mans, you never had BIS gear anyway.
Speaking as someone who has barely seen any 25-man content outside of what I've been able to PuG, I don't view this as unfair at all. In fact, I'd be ticked if all the 25-man guilds instantly had T8.0 as soon as the patch dropped. Upgrades are upgrades, whether the gear came with the patch or not. The gear levels and rewards fit the progression path the people choose to take, and we avoid the problems of 1) having 2+ currencies for each new raid, and 2) running heroics for badges to buy T6 level gear like I had to do in BC.
There's always the recruitment forums if you're looking for a guild that can run 25s.
