Ask a Lore Nerd: Speculation station {WoW}

Jul 21st 2009 1:32PM No, there isn't. The Old Gods are beings that have existed on Azeroth before the Titans ever came along and shaped it. They are selfish, brooding beings locked away by the Titans so they could not interfere with Titan creations on Azeroth.

The Burning Legion is the pet project of fallen Titan, Sargeras, his little spat at destroying everything in the universe, composed of countless races recruited across all of existence and corrupted for the sake of accomplishing that end goal.

The Old Gods could, theoretically be contacted by the Burning Legion and some kind of deal struck, but that doesn't really fit with how the Old Gods work, and as of yet, no such interaction has been known to occur.

May 2nd 2009 5:03PM No kidding. There are no weapons as of yet that are ideal for ele shaman in 10 man Ulduar. There is one caster mace, and it's better suited for healers, by far.

Varian Wrynn is Right, Part III {WoW}

Apr 29th 2009 9:41AM Yeah, I guess I did get that confused with something else. No matter, I rather like that the Horde will still crush the Alliance at any given opportunity and still find time to bring the hurt to the Scourge. The Alliance isn't the pure and majestic thing so many make it out to be. If they weren't the racist bigots that they are, the members of the Horde wouldn't see a reason to trounce them time and again just to have their space in the world.
