Jan 9th 2010 10:20AM My epic endgame vision:
The battle against Sargeras, I would start out as a battleground the goal being the side who gains the most artifact to unlock the portal. Each item would have to be turned into the respective bases. You need all artifacts to open the gate so Thrall and Wyrn agree to work together (that's right an 80 man Alliance/Horde raid against the King of Chaos himself). Vent would be needed for this battle. Jania uses the artifacts to remove the Horde/Alliance hinderence of healing and harmful spells issues in the PVP battleground.
No farming of the battle ground would be possible. Because after 15 minutes Sargeras entranance into the threshhold causes an explosion that kills everyone (or maybe just causes a time loop that sends the player back to where he started).

Nov 1st 2009 12:28PM We did test putting it the back prior to zone changing which works if not inconvient to keep the Marionette between zone changing.
Jul 17th 2009 1:21PM I agree. Book writing / Book binding would be great. I like your idea of the buffs and skilling up. I also think that it would be nice to journal lives adventures and notes.
Jul 17th 2009 1:09PM First woodworking/logging -- You could gather much like the wood quest from argent tournament with a bit of herbalizm involved. You have to plant as much as chop down wood. Much like using soil from the crator and the pouch. Wood working would consist of Arrows, bows, staffs, trinkets, and shields.
Camping would be a nice secondary. Camping would consist of tents which can be build anywhere giving 50% rested vs the staying at an in. The Campfire would give you a buff like the tranquil totem -or whatever it is - that would reduce the threat in certian areas. You would be able to increase the meats you get by trapping critters. --I see this as mostly being an rp aspect-- And trail tracking. Allowing you to target someone and have them Blink on you minimap. Imagine doing that with rares.LOL
Mountian Climbing. Depending your Zone it would effect how well you do it. Better mining area's can be hidden. Better chests and camps can be hidden. And developers fix those zones.
Tea making-- Part herb part cooking. With herbs that are gathered you can make teas. The tea buffs would give you a multiple affect for classes like DKs Warriors, Rouges and others. The lowby teas would offer a x2 or 3 or 4 for rage, energy, upperlevels for rune-DK's and even mana users would be able to regen quicker. Allowing for quicker bar fills.
---I do like the idea's of toymaking. Because engineering only pets is just not nice!!!!!----
Jul 6th 2009 3:45PM This is one of the things blizz should add in game. pay 25c buy a paper, play a xword while waiting to on the flight plan. Checking up on stories of other 'heros' maybe even having actual classifieds. Awesome concept really .
Jul 1st 2009 9:30AM This needs to be completely retaught. I'm Horde. Don't know why. I think I would like to RP. I even have a few Alli characters with very well thought out back drops but it's just not me.
But what I would prefer to do is copy my main to another server with the option of changing race/factions. I would pay to do this. My Troll Shaman gone forever. NEVER.. But to have her as a draenei just when I'm playing with some of my friends (thanks to RaF) every once and awhile would be fine.
Jun 26th 2009 4:21PM I do think this is viable. I've gone over economic terms like elasticity and supply/demand and having my daughter compare something like cloth to copper. Showed her youtube videos of science project, they are out there. I gone over math equations for simple algebra with trade skills and making items to how many times must I cast my fishing if on average it takes me 10 casts to go up a skill.
The possibilities are endless.
Jun 26th 2009 4:09PM Honestly I'm glad they're doing this. I also thought there should be some method. Like having those of a certain number of battles be in the same tier but this makes everyone happy. I hate battlegrounds because of twinks.--the bad rude obnoxious ones--
I do think that there should be more ingame information for new players just entering the battlegrounds. A quick tutorial from an NPC would be nice and keep it rp/game related. I think everyone from Guilds to players to Blizzard themselves rely too much on people going out of game to figure out how things work instead of just having some npc in game just tell you how the BGs work.
Jun 14th 2009 8:39AM Yes, both EU and China have a few Server only pets. I think that is completely unfair for them and the US. I understand the TGC, because if you want them that bad there are ways of getting them even with real money. Or even event mounts and pets like from Blizzcon. But just because you're on a server seems weak.
If it is a promotional item how can it be wrong to open it up to the entire world. You already have states in the US who will ban it. That is the states right. If England decided that they didn't want the Mtn Dew promotion in the country because it promoted caffeine and unhealthy eating habits then that would be England's choice but I really don't think that Blizzard should be stopping people from enjoying the game fully.
But it doesn't really matter, I'm still playing aren't I.
