Feb 11th 2011 10:44PM I had a friend tell me about this.
When I went home I immediately went to Vashj'ir and there he was.
No one, even people who liked leveling in Vashj'ir go back there, so there was no competition.
Now however, probably a bit harder to get.
Feb 10th 2011 9:01AM I was incredibly angry at this change as well.
My friend put it perfectly when he stated "So every expansion I am going to have to re-earn it?"
Obviously that is just plain ridiculous.
I understand what Blizzard is trying to do. Getting 40 reputations to exalted right now is fairly easy with a bit of grinding. Getting 45 is a bit tougher, 50. I can get it, but boy is it going to be tough. Much like getting 40 was in wrath.
I don't think I want an exalteder, exaltedest type titles to be added. A nice solution would have been to keep the exalted title on people who already had it, and make the requirement to get it now as 50 reputations.
Also, to JT. HLK-25 IS a faceroll at current gear levels. The mechanics of the fight are really simple, his damage is nothing with new health pools. I recently earned my Light of Dawn title at the same time as my Kingslayer.
Feb 6th 2011 1:21AM Indeed, for soloing of any kind Blood Craze is a fantastic talent. It procs reliably off of any type or amount of damage. I have it consistently proc while doing my cooking daily in orgrimmar when I pick a prickly pear fruit.
I solo old content all the time as fury, this talent alone makes me able to survive for much longer than otherwise would have been possible. Many of the old raid bosses put dots on you that tick for less than the heals from Blood Craze.
Combining blood craze and bloodthirst spam I can solo most old raid content, including Magtheridon as Fury.
Funny little bug. My blood craze healing ticks will often proc my hurricane buff on my weapon. Go figure.
Jan 31st 2011 10:31AM Orgrimmar, I fell to my death.
Being an engineer I always have the parachute enchant on my cloak, I jump off things and float lazily down.
I had just gotten a cloak upgrade, I was on top of a zeppelin.
This was only the first of many deaths attributed to cloak upgrades during cata.
Jan 17th 2011 11:42AM Everyone keeps mentioning that Garrosh's attack on the Alliance ships makes sense because The Horde is obviously at war with The Alliance.
I understand this completely, attack enemies.
However, it made no sense tactically. They were supposed to be heading to Twilight Highlands where they knew they were to run into NON -ALLIANCE enemy forces. The alliance boats posed no immediate threat to the airships. It is not like he ordered a full halt and had his whole armada attack the alliance.
No, he ordered his fighter escorts to harass them. There was little hope that the fighters themselves could do much damage to the ships. Indeed, they did not, as the alliance were in good enough shape to attack Horde ships that came later AND still make it to Twilight Highlands.
He made a stupid military mistake (waste resources before the planned operation).
He made another stupid military mistake (leaving his main force unprotected).
My biggest problem with Garrosh is that he cannot seem to make up his mind about how he wants to act. Sometimes he talks to fellow horde members (mostly orcs) with honor and pride. Other members, he treats like dirt and filth (Sylvanus and Vol'jin, as well as the rest of their race).
To me, he is a racist meathead. Exactly like the Alliance Grand Marshal Garithos. The man who due to poor judgment and blatant racism caused the Blood Elves to leave the alliance and eventually join the horde.
If things continue as they are I could completely believe Trolls and Undead leaving the Horde. I wouldn't be surprised to see at least some Tauren go along with them. (I highly doubt this would really happen, it would break the game too much for Blizzard. The idea is still sound though).
Jan 16th 2011 2:17PM I find it interesting that you mention that "this kind of behavior will not be tolerated".
When in fact during the beginning Twilight Highlands quests we see Garrosh act in just such a manner. Attacking Alliance boats without any sort of provocation.
This was not Horde territory, and more importantly it went against any decent military strategy.
If Garrosh is learning, he is learning extremely slowly.
I do not care for Garrosh. I shall continually set my Basic Campfire upon the Orgrimmar throne. Until either the Campfire becomes warchief, or Varok Saurfang comes down from Northrend to a cozy warm seat.
Jan 8th 2011 7:26PM My experiences with luck are both fantastic and downright terrible.
I am an avid pet collector. To date I have 132 pets on one character.
My luck with pet drops and pet related achievements is quite awesome. Most of the whelpling hatchlings took little time to farm, Mr. Pinchy took a few days, sewer rat.... all were obtained with minimal effort. A few I must admit gave me constant frustration, but they also happened to be pets I could purchase off of the AH.
Mounts - The RNG gods decided that all my luck should be placed in pets. I have run many instances with mount drops and never seen them drop. Not just lost the roll, but never even seen them. Baron Rivendare's deathcharger is a constant reminder of my failings.
The turtle mount makes me weep great bloody tears. I have fished over 7000 times from pools. With no sign of the mount. My most coveted mount ever.
Gear - Once again, my fabulous pet luck leaves little left for other rolls.
I must get used to using points to purchase gear, gold to craft as /need will only end in disappointment.
Not that I never win an upgrade, but the ones I roll well on are pieces that are minor upgrades at best, usually nothing more than different stats that may or may not be slightly better than my current gear. The BiS items... pfft, might as well just hand it over to that crudly ret paladin who has that leather hat on. I won't be rolling over 30.
Jan 5th 2011 8:45AM My main I had already thought up long before ever installing WoW. I thought it sounded extremely Taurenish.
Funnily enough the name I had wanted to use for an orc was already taken. By an NPC.
Most of my non-main toons have ridiculous names. As I only ever play them for fun and don't especially care for them.
My female undead lock - Schteve (pronounced Steve, but with a heavy SHHHH sound at the front).
My troll hunter - Smilinjoe. He has the tiny tusks that curve upward, makes it look like he has a goofy grin.
My most fun I have is with Death Knight names. Too many other characters run around with some version of Arthas or have Death in their name. I go the opposite route.
My various DK names-
Tauren DK - Hugglewuvs
Blood Elf DK - Sprinklestar
Tauren DK 2.0 - Huggywubs
Gnome DK - Gilroysparzz (Name I used when playing KoToR. Have been congratulated in many random dungeon groups for making the creepiest looking gnome ever).

Dec 29th 2010 9:52AM Each and every guild I have ever been in has always had at least ONE member who is a neat freak.
Always this person will sit down for possibly hours at a time and organize the guild bank, remove unneeded items. If anything needs to be sold they deposit MOST of what was made. No one cares about the gold really, we consider it a cleaners fee.
I only wish my current cleaner would organize more to my tastes. :)
Its almost like your secretary insists on filing numerically when you want things done alphabetically.
