WoW Insider's Cataclysm Launch Giveaway: GeForce GTS 450 graphics card {WoW}

Dec 7th 2010 9:13AM woohoo! This is a great contest!

Shifting Perspectives: Restoration 101, part 3 {WoW}

Jan 26th 2010 4:13PM Improved Tree of life (Rank 3): "increases your healing spell power by 15% of your spirit while in Tree of life form" is probably what you are asking about.

Blizzard says no to skipping to the last boss {WoW}

Jan 24th 2010 4:15PM In my day, it took 4 hours to get to the last boss of BRD. And the spirit run back if you were dead was a solid 3-5 minutes depending on if you got lost, or if other people got lost. And there were not emblems to get. Or gold for a reward. And you did it anyway! And you liked it!

Well, maybe you didn't like it. But you still did it. The phrase 'give a mouse a cookie...' comes to mind for anyone complaining about dungeons taking too long.

Breakfast Topic: Blurring the boundaries between patches and expansions {WoW}

Aug 5th 2009 1:43PM Why are people acting like patches with content are new to WoW? BWL was patch 1.6, ZG was 1.7, AQ was 1.9 - and that was just vanilla instances (that's not counting talent adjustments, quests, real-world bosses, etc.). This is the way it's always been. It's nothing new. Stop acting like patches and expansions are getting "blurred."

Breakfast Topic: Inexplicable dislikes {WoW}

Jun 5th 2009 9:08AM I hate people that sit around and wait for you to loot your mobs so they can skin/mine/herb them. If I see that, I go way out of my way to NOT loot them or leave a couple pieces of grey loot on them so they can't gather my kills.

Officers' Quarters: Fragmentation {WoW}

May 11th 2009 1:22PM I find it interesting so many people are getting worked up about a mace that they need to clear Ulduar first, before they even have a chance at seeing it, not to mention gathering 30 fragments. If the above guild was excited to get FL down in a few attempts, (no offense) but it will be a long time before they can down Yogg-Saron. Tell the healers to chill out, it's gonna be a while.

Val'anyr is a Paladin weapon {WoW}

Apr 28th 2009 4:37PM You guys at wowinsider posted a link to an uninformed, highly speculative blog post by a paladin claiming Val'anyr is a paladin weapon? Big surprise she claims this. Until there is one actually created in game, there is no reason to claim this is better suited to any class.
