Jul 23rd 2010 1:20PM This is precisely the difference in WotLK -> Cata and WoW -> TBC or TBC -> WotLK. In WotlK there are whole zones full of quests that are normally never done by people leveling. I normally finish up to 80 in Shalozar Basin, for example, never needing to do Icecrown or most of the storm peaks. You have a ton of opportunity to finish up to 80 in northrend with loads of questhubs to spare.
This wasn't always the case in TBC and Vanilla, were you had to choose between grinding mobs and looking around for those spare missed quests.
Jul 22nd 2010 3:31PM I love Shadowed Unit Frames and use them for my raid bars as well, which works great for my guilds 10 man runs.
My problem is that when I pop into a BG or a random 25 man VoA run or something the bars mutiply out until they take over my screen. So what I have to do is open up SUF, disable raid bars, then open up the blizzard standard frames and drag those out.
Is there a way to make it have different settings for different sizes of raids?
And don't say "just use grid". I don't like it.
May 5th 2010 1:44PM I disagree with the logic that the ToC champs have a tank and can act like a regular 5 man. The warrior's on both sides are dps warriors, not prot. I mean, they have Mortal Strike as an ability and bladestorm. Clearly, they are Arms dps warriors. Not tanks.
We've all had experience with some dps warrior trying to skip the queue for the random daily by signing up as a tank and we all know how badly that goes.
I still vote for them winning, but the logic on most of arguments seems to be of the belief that they can act as a regular party.
May 3rd 2010 1:10PM I don't mind attunements too much, especially if they add backstory and good lore around it. I wouldn't mind this change at all if they make the attunements account wide, or heirloomed or something.
The biggest hassle with attunements is when they are too long, boring, non soloable, and don't get applied to alts. People complained about attunements when their raid night comes up, one of your healers is out, and you can't bring the spare because they haven't done the 4 dungeons required to get the attunement. The raid gets called and everybody curses blizzard.
Mar 25th 2010 1:22PM How could you miss the biggest change that they FINALLY made in 3.3.3?? The change that Hunters the world over have been demanding since release??
On the characters selection screen hunters are now shown with their ranged weapon and not those stat sticks that we carry around.
Jan 4th 2010 2:14PM I raised the Call Stabled Pet as an issue and the response I got was that they're working on it and if ou want to get out of the CD go into an arena skermish (which clears the CD). Then don't do it in a cross server dungeon.
Dec 14th 2009 8:18PM That's not correct. Blizzards servers are subject to US as well as international law. They exist inside a data center somewhere on US soil and Blizzard is a US based corporation.
Dec 14th 2009 8:14PM You don't even have the right to say what you want TO blizzard. If you went to their corporate offices they could have you removed and arrested if you refused to cooperate because it's private property. If you went to GC's house and started yelling at him the cops would show up and remove you, again because it's private property.
You don't own Blizzard's servers or their forums. You don't have the right to say anything you want while you're in someone else's space.
If you want to complain about Blizzard, or GC, or anybody, make your own blog, hold a picket sign in a public space, pass out flyers, etc. Your right to say whatever you want ends at the limit of public space or your property.
Nov 5th 2009 4:46PM You mean Dark Lord of the Sith turned Jedi Hero TURNED DARK LORD OF THE SITH!!!! Going evil in that game was the best.
Sep 2nd 2009 4:12PM He didn't do that either, because that would be too easy. He's a pacifist and doesn't assist others with killing things either. He did it by doing non-violent quests, doing daily quests, like fishing and cooking, or capping flags in AB/WSG all without killing anything. Grats to him on finishing a goal and finding a way to play a game that is truely unique.
