Jun 15th 2011 1:56PM Question:
Can someone please shed some light on the persistent disconnect issue when switching toons? This started at 4.1 and I have not see any coverage on WowInsider. What is Blizzard saying about this? Is there a fix? It's really time consuming to type in a username, password, authenticator code every time we switch toons.
Jun 11th 2011 4:40PM I am really frustrated about being de-logged when I switch toons. I've seen this on the official forums, but no real response as to what it is or how to fix it. What's going on, and where can I get more information about this.
Apr 16th 2011 4:01PM I would create "The Single Instance" that would be done with NPC's as your allies. There would be a NPC that takes up the rolls you are not.
This would be role specific. *Examples*
Tanks = Survive x minutes, while the NPC's help you, until the enemy retreats
DPS = Survive long enough by keeping stuff off the tank (or hero)
Healers = Heal the hero while he holds the ground
What I am proposing is three different "types" of the "single instance". A level 1-5 Single Instance (SI) would maybe be for fresh 85'sm 6-10 for those with ilevel 339-346 and 11-15 for those with 347-358. As new teir gear comes out ("378's for example) You add 16-20.
Each level, the mobs inside hit for 3% more. In this way its like the enemy NPC's get the ICC buff. By scaling the damage, all three scenarios are increased in difficulty.
Loot: Loot would be random still. This needs to happen. I know, I know, why not make it role specific - Look, its the same in heroics. it is what it is. By making it random, it is much more likely to keep you entertained longer. Another option is something like "Champion seals" were in Wrath, with a special vendor to buy gear from.
1-5 = 333
11-15 = 359
16-20 = Next tier
I am by no means saying these should be loot pinatas. They need to be hard. In addition, you can no longer Queue for the tier below, only your current tier. Also, there should be 3-5 different types for each class - otherwise, it is boring.
Also, to make the gear easier to "design" I would just buff the pieces from 1 tier to the next. Healers might have a 333 "Chestplate of endless healing" that has 96 Int on it with 68 Crit. The 346 would have 116 Int and 96 crit. *Numbers are just examples* Basically as you go up, the tier does.
If any of you have played "Turret Defense" that is what I am kinda modeling this after. This isn't well thought out as it could be, but I hope it is enough to get the drift.
Mar 24th 2011 5:41PM Instead of sorting by stat, I would do "Contains" stat.
So for your Resto sham I would say Contains Spirit and Int or just int.
Mar 23rd 2011 5:43PM My thought is this: If you are worried about this abuse from your guild leader, you are in the wrong guild. If you can not trust your guild leadership, that says so very much.
Mar 10th 2011 2:05PM Our guild (Namaste of Sen'jin) is running a contest for "Stay Classy" for our guildies. We are offering bounties of 4-5k per toon they level that the guild needs. It's been nice because it's given the casual people in the guild something to do. We are at 1140 achievement points right now - and racing towards #3 on server.
Jan 9th 2011 3:59PM So I noticed that the max cap on a guild is now 1020. It's highly probable that this is how much storage is in the integer type holding the data. However, 1020 is not a max number, it's 1024. What are the other 4 slots in guild used for?
Nov 6th 2008 2:36PM Woot! I sooo want one!
