Apr 8th 2010 5:13PM Naw, its well known you do razuvious first, because if someone dies to some stupid mechanic of that fight, ie. MC missing, you can reset the raid (or at least you could back in t7 day when my guild was doing immortal).
Oh the painful memories of less then 5% deaths on KT because of a disconnect on an otherwise perfect run.

Jan 20th 2010 7:11PM You mentioned against rotface using CoS if you need to run through the slime to get to the tank. Since the only reason a rogue will be running to the tank in this fight is to drop off the mutagen slime, don't use CoS, because it will cleanse the mutagen off you, and drop the slime in the wrong place.

i do raid, and i will say as a dps, 99% of the time when we die its our own damn fault. its not the healers problem if we stand in fire and die, or get cleaved, or stand in a void zone. yes, there is the rare occasion where the healer messes up, but if your in a guild that raids, with somewhat competent healers, then that very very rarely happens
if the tank dies, it's the healers fault.
If the healer dies, it's the tanks fault.
If I die, it's my own damn fault.
Nov 14th 2009 5:59AM Before anyone jumps on me for not directly talking about healing in a RX column, I just contributed this because I know it helped out our healers immensely....the less of us squishy rogues need healing the better in my guild, and less rogues dieing means more rogues to peel mobs off the healers. (If your rogues are bad, a simple disarm, blind, or even a vanish into a stunlock can do wonders in this fight).
Also, I;m sure many people have mentioned this, and I'm sure 99% of people know this but...
Mass dispell is your friend in this fight...call for it/use it.

Nov 14th 2009 4:47AM As the melee lead in a "hardcore" guild, and as a rogue myself, I have found it incredibly beneficial to have at least 1 rogue, if not 2 in a pvp mut spec. Aside from the increased survivability off the start, when all of the loose mobs come straight for the rogues, it also provides lots more clinch cc. By clinch cc i mean a quick 3-10 second instant cast cc to get things under control if a mob tries to go for your healer and or clothie.

Just stack on the tank (like directly on him) and they can't target you.
