Breakfast Topic: How do you get past bad nights? {WoW}

Nov 19th 2010 9:37AM As a horde player I go to Goldshire/ Northshire and try to flag lowbies so I can kill them. Always helps me unwind.

Spiritual Guidance: Spells we forget {WoW}

May 30th 2010 9:06PM I remember using mind soothe in Naxx 40 back in the day. The instructor Razuvious adds had longer aggro ranges back then and had to be mind soothed first before they could be mind controled. This is the way we used to do it. Does anyone else remember this?

Breakfast Topic: 101 things to do before the world dies {WoW}

Apr 23rd 2010 8:13AM Some of my personal goals before Cata hits:

Loremaster (502/685 for Kalimdor is all I lack)

Exalted with Timbermaw Hold

Dungeon set 2 (i'm in the process of finding a Flask of Supreme Power lol)

Finishing the AQ scepter quest chain (on Dr. Weevil atm after I get a group and down him i'll have all the draconic books)

Ideally I would like to get exalted with (revered atm) Hydraxion waterlords and the brood of Nozdormu. That reminded me I would also like to get the trinket from C'thun that summons a tentacle.

Breakfast Topic: The all nighter {WoW}

Mar 30th 2010 10:10AM I have had several all nighters. I've had the ones where I didnt have anything to do the next day so I would just dick around all night. But I have only had one where I lost track of time and didn't realize that it was 5 am and I had to be at school in a few hours. Back in mid BC I was around lvl 68 on my priest. Leveling had been going really slow for me because I was a holy priest through and through and I a lot of the quests were a little difficult for a holy priest that still had a lot to learn. My newly formed guild at the time was trying to gear up for Kara. We didn't have a healer so one week night two of the officers decided to power level me all the way to 70. I hadn't even set foot in Nagrand (I know!) yet so that's where we grinded out my last 2 levels. We weren't grouped up but we were on vent together. I would attack a mob first and they would finish it off. I know it was late by the time I actually hit 70 and the officers logged off but I stayed on running around being a 70. I will always remember that night one of the best.

This isn't really an all nighter story but there was one time I was in a science class that had stadium seating and there were probably at least 100 people in that class. While the professor was lecturing about balancing equations etc. I was in the back involved in a really intense AV game. The game was so good and I really hated to leave that I stayed there after my class got out and the next class came in and sat down. People did look at me funny when AV ended (which we won lol) and I got up in the middle of class and walked out. That was one of the few times in which I've played through a class at school lol.

The Queue: In which vacation was taken {WoW}

Mar 15th 2010 7:42PM I have two questions.

The paladins and warlocks both have a feat of strength for completing their epic quests and gaining their epic ground mounts. Druids have a feat of strength for completing their epic flight quests. How come priests don't get a feat of strength for completing the quest line to receive Benediction. It is the best looking healing staff in the game and the quest itself testing nearly all of the priest's abilities.

Question number 2. A while back I read in some patch notes (3.3.1 maybe?) that there would be titles if you are exalted with the 3 old Battle ground factions (AV, AB, and WSG). I know they made it to where you didn't need to be exalted to get the master of X achievement but I thought they were going to be adding some titles in.

Breakfast Topic: What won't you do? {WoW}

Mar 5th 2010 8:50AM From a lore perspective I refuse to recognize the importance of the Draenei. Also I don't care much for their appearance in the game.

Breakfast Topic: Hi ho Silver, away! {WoW}

Feb 1st 2010 8:26AM Thinking back on mounts ,including my first, brings back some wonderful memories.
When I was a leveling my first toon(priest) I was level 44 and in a ZF run. This was in the level 40 mount days lol. Everyone in the run was level 40 something and had their first mount. This was my first toon and I had no idea how to accumulate gold or even how to use professions. Half way through the run everyone mounted up and cruised through part of the dungeon. I ran as fast as I could on my feet because I was trying not to draw attention to the fact that I didn't have a mount yet. Well everyone noticed and they were sending me tells asking how come I didn't have a mount yet. I said because I didn't have enough gold. 2 of the people I was running with opened trade and made sure that I had the gold to purchase my first mount. A third person in the party whispered me to make sure I had received enough. After ZF the hunter in the group went with me to watch me pick up my mount and take my first ride around Brill. The undead horse has always been my favorite ground mount and will always be. I remember the kindness that people had for me way back then. Sometimes I feel that these kinds of people are rare nowadays.
Anyways, my favorite flyer would have to be my Cobalt Netherwing Drake. After the agony of doing all the quests and dailies. Going in and out of the stupid cave. Being killed trying to collect the rare eggs. I remember the quest at the end when u get the free ride to Shatt to pick out your drake. I currently have the Violet Protodrake but I still choose to use the netherdrake even if its not as fast. In my opinion i worked harder for the Netherdrake then the Protodrake and I think it is the coolest looking flyer in the game.

Breakfast Topic: Missed Dungeon Opportunities {WoW}

Jan 5th 2010 9:58AM I think one of the coolest and most beautiful zones in the game is Azshara. The last time I was in Azshara was during the Scourge Invasion where the Necropolisis were popping up everywhere in the old world. When the one phased out in Azshara I stayed there and explored. There seems to be a lot of potential there. The ruins of Eldareth could be made into a great dungeon like DM. (I know i'm weird I like actually like DM). I think there was going to be a battleground there but it was never implemented. The Temple of Arkkoran is another interesting area. There seems to be some very interesting lore behind it but when you actually see it in game there nothing there. Maybe we'll get some very interesting changes for this zone in Cataclysm.

The Wrath you never saw {WoW}

Dec 28th 2009 7:19PM One thing I was hoping for was an outdoor raid boss. We had them in vanilla wow and even in BC with Doom Lord Kazzak. I wish that we could've had one to spur competition on the server and lead to some pretty crazy world pvp. That is the one thing I missed in WotLK.
