Jun 26th 2009 5:17PM I would recommend staying affliction until lvl 50, then switching to demo so you can use the felguard. best leveling pet hands down. the tanking and most of the survivability of the VW and the dps of the succy. Plus, it's hilarious to see one standing next to his gnome master.
Apr 20th 2009 2:06PM not 100% sure, but I don't think it has anything to do with your Oracle/Frenzyheart standing. I don't think they are non-combat pets as much as they are quest items in the Northrend Children's Week events, but I may be mistaken.
Apr 20th 2009 2:03PM I don't think they are a reward, I think they are the orphans you lead around Northrend, like you lead an orc/human child around Ye Olde Azeroth and a Blood Elf/Draenai Child around Outland.
Apr 20th 2009 12:15PM they are part of childrens week, if i remember correctly.
Apr 20th 2009 11:23AM For the Argent Tournament, I hit Champion with my home faction (Thunderbluff) this morning and had a few questions:
Does going back to valiant with another faction mean that I can't do the Champion Dailies? Or once I earn them, they're always there?
Also, are there still titles associated with the tourny? I remember bearing about " . . .of ___" titles (Me of Thunderbluff) and I thought you got that when you hit champion but I don't see it.
Last question: there is a daily quest to give 10g to a squire that doesn't seem to have any reward. What's up with that if we don't influence the building of the stadium?
Feb 17th 2009 6:08PM I understand where you're coming from, but I do look at this as a positive addition, a nice way to vary up the fights. How many versions of "move when the boss does this" can we sit through before it gets old? Plus the thought of catapulting myself across a battlefield to stab a giant in the kidneys is bizaarly intriguing.
Jan 15th 2009 7:13PM If I remember correctly, bank space for totems should be a non-issue once you equip your first relic (relic counts as all four totems, last time I was on my shammy)
I was thinking about this and I think a neat solution for the totems would be to have a totem grip spell, maybe on a 30 sec CD that would grab all 4 totems you dropped and bring them to you as you moved placing them at four corners around you like you plunked em down yourself. With 5 min totems, that would mean you could reposition them 8-9 times before they go away.
Obviously, with some totems there would still be strategy involved, but they aren't looking to make the totems into another pally aura, so I think this would be a viable solution.
Dec 23rd 2008 2:08PM I ran into this on my Warlock a lot (it still happens occasionally). "Can you please hearth to the city, get a group of two other people together and summon me there?" Sorry, but no matter how nicely they ask, there better be a big paycheck in that for me . . . and whoever clicks the portal.
Dec 15th 2008 11:31AM I haven't had too much trouble hitting the def cap since I had power lvl'd my jewelcrafting. Three epic gems with +27 def each don't hurt!
Dec 1st 2008 6:24PM This is just nitpicking, but Warlocks, though they used to be, are not the only class with a talking pet: Unholy Death Knights now share this honor with the ability to raise an undead minion. Mine is quite talkative. In fact, I can't get him to shut up.
