Jul 2nd 2009 11:17PM Ginby, I apologize if I seemed aggressive. I've just gotten tired of people going out of their way to nitpick or henpeck irrelevant matters of spelling or grammar rather than address the actual points of an article/post.
The worst are those that think they can invalidate a point of view they do not agree with only by pointing out that their opponent made some minor mistake in writing it up, not that you were doing that.
And if you go out of your way to point out someone's else's minor mistake, it looks bad that your correction was in itself incorrect.
Anyhow, random addition but linguistic professor Geoff Nunberg has written some interesting things about people who go out of their way to point out other people's minor writing mistakes and what it says about them, worth a read :-)
Jul 2nd 2009 9:04PM Though I like the idea of fanction specific sets, I generally do not like the idea of armor types sharing designs.
However, if they limit this to the Tier 9 set, I can live with it as it would fit with the general theme of unified armies going off to war against the Lich King.
Not only are the armor sets similar, like a uniform, but the general design seems for subdued and utilitarian, again fitting with the idea of a unified front against a major enemy.
Anyhow, I would have preferred they put a little bit more time into creating faction and class specific armor, but at least this time I can deal with it.
Jul 2nd 2009 9:01PM I think that falls under the category of a typo, not a grammatical mistake, but thanks for showing your superior command of the english language for the rest of us.
Jun 29th 2009 2:53PM Think you missed the sarcasm there SixTwo...
Mar 13th 2009 4:35PM On the one hand, I'm glad that Glider will be ceasing operations, I certainly do not approve of botting.
However, I'm more concerned about the legal precedents Blizzard has established in winning this case and the implications for copyright law. Blizzard made some rather extreme claims in their legal action that could bite us all in the rear down the road.
