Feb 27th 2009 3:13PM This is probably actually referring to gimmick fights such as Thaddius where our rage can actually be full all of the time due to some buffs given by the fight.
The statement, I believe, is intended to mean if the fight allowed us to actually have a full rage bar and never move, neither of which is very common.
Feb 17th 2009 6:10PM You did, however, sign up to play a game as it is developed by Blizzard Entertainments wow team.
Its a game, if you wish to do the content in the game, you have to.... do the content in the game.
I was easily able to do all the Eregos achievements using the vehicles provided, it just takes learning the content and trying what you can. I'm sure this encounter will be the same, people will have to get over a few wipes and learn to do the content provided.
Jan 22nd 2009 7:17PM Ran some numbers. My priest with 2442 spellpower self buffed/flasked at the time. Along with all talents increasing the healing on CoH.
Average Coh Heal - 2100
Average Crit Coh heal - 3200
I've seen the holy light glyph, crit for over 3k as well, on a paladin with significantly less spellpower of his own, around 2100 with a flask/selfbuffs.
A major glyph should not be comparable, and able to do significantly more raw healing during a raid than a deep tree talent.
Dec 8th 2008 3:06PM It is rather simple, they didn't want people with the time to grind out 80 super fast (which I myself did as well) to be able to simply buy up their pvp gear and as another poster said "roflstomp everyone" who didn't have the time to invest in stockpiling marks and honor.
The getting gear from Archavon is rather slow for most people unless your extremely lucky with drops/group, so it isnt like your losing out that tremendously.
Besides, It isnt even that much more of a wait.
