Come on, one of those *has* to work...
Apr 4th 2011 4:23PM Azeroth on 20 Silver A Day - http://twentysilver.blogspot.com/
Achievement hounding, reputation grinding, solo dungeoneering, PvP-ing...ing, and just about anything else that happens to catch my fancy.
Jan 10th 2011 2:37PM @richardconeal: Easy enough - put the raid entrance outside of Azshara, in Mount Hyjal. Make the first room in the "raid" a research station where Steamwheedle engineers have a prototype teleporter that *should* get you past the exterior defenses and plop you down right in Gallywix's throne room itself! Really! The chances of it randomly splitting you up into a bunch of 5-man parties in random areas of the Pleasure Palace is practically nil!
Nov 9th 2010 1:45PM Oh, and as for panic buttons/survivability. Blink and invisibility for evasion and escape. Ice block for surviving burst damage and clearing DoTs. Polymorph, slow, and frost nova for crowd control. Mirror image as a dps increase and aggro dump all in one. Mana shield or mage warm for damage mitigation. Glyph of evocation to make evocation a self-heal as well as a mana restoring spell.
Mages actually have quite a few panic buttons and survivability options.
Nov 9th 2010 1:24PM I'm with Nina. Arcane mage, and I've soloed just about every regular 5-man in BC, and a number of heroics as well. I'm working on Lower City rep and doing a full clear of Shadow Labyrinth at about 30 minutes a pop.
Oct 19th 2010 1:13PM Matron. Hands down. If I was able to raid regularly, I might covet Kingslayer... but overall, the most time, effort and energy I've put into any particular WoW achievement to date was the Children's Week PvP requirements.
Yeah. Taking care of the kids was more work that being a Lich slayer. Who'da thunk it?
At this point, the only title that I think might edge out "Matron" is "the Insane".
Jun 18th 2010 2:33PM Give him an escort - a score of level 80 paladins.
Have them surround him, and lead him to the mailbox outside of the bank in Stormwind.
Then, once he's up on the mailbox and dancing... the paladins can bubble hearth, leaving him alone, unloved, and very, very squishy in the middle of enemy territory.
Mar 5th 2010 3:30PM I recently had a positive experience with a rogue in Wintergrasp while I was playing my mage. By which I mean, while he was farming elementals, I went invisible, snuck up behind him, then popped Mirror Image, Slow, and then burned him down until there was nothing left but a slightly discolored patch on the snow.
It felt good to give a little bit back to the rogue community, you know?
