We get a few things,

19% off our contracted rate plan, which is just a normal consumer plan. This is pretty much just a foundation discount.

COU ( Company official use ) phone is unlimited data, texting and minutes is free but obviously it's supposed to be used for business purposes only. Most employees use this for their personal lines though.

Also we get two ERP lines ( employee rate plans ) which give you a 1000 minute line and a 500 minute line. These are completely free, but you have to pay for extras like texting, nights and weekends, mobile to mobile and pretty much anything else you can think off.

I have two iphones on ERP lines that I let my family use and with the 30 dollar unlimited data required and the 20 dollar unlimited text per phone i pay 50 dollars per line a month.

Apple iPad 3G service plans on AT&T, $30 for unlimited data {Engadget}

Jan 27th 2010 2:55PM Sweet! They gave me a choose between unlimited data or a cheaper limited plan. Now a user like me who only checks my email every now and then will not have to pay the same as heavy users. Also on the nations fastest 3g network. Sounds good.

Walmart greeters will soon welcome you to a Nexus One with Sprint, Verizon, and AT&T 3G? (update: nope!) {Engadget}

Lets be honest, no one goes to wal-mart for the customer support or good atmosphere. You go to save money. If you have questions go to a T-Mo store ask your questions and leave or go to a discussion site.

Hulu's subscription service might run $5 for access to select shows {Engadget}

You'd rather buy the rapidshare and watch the video in 720p rather then watch a show instantly when ever you want. Buffer time is way faster then rapidshare or torrents will ever be.

Jan 21st 2010 10:17PM Why are these comments all making it out to seem like this is a terrible idea. This sounds like a fantastic Idea.

You get everything you have now to continue at the same low low price of FREE, but also have the option to watch shows that would previously be expired and possibly not have to worry about advertisement.

Aliph Jawbone Icon Bluetooth headset launched in six lush flavors (Update: video!) {Engadget}

After reading the full press release it looks like I may have spook too soon. It will be coming to Apple, AT&T, Best Buy Mobile, and other cellular carries soon after.

Still a little strange that they'd lunch it with Verizon.

Watch the video over at cnet or take a look at the MyTALK website. When you turn the phone on, depending on what selection you pick, you get different voices and wordings. The bombshell is definitely sexy. ;)

Jan 18th 2010 12:22AM I find it a little humorous that one of the big new features with this jawbone is the fact that it can show remaining battery life directly on the iPhone but is being sold by Verizon.

Nov 5th 2009 10:37AM Shows you just how illiterate I am when it comes to how cell phones actually work. Can you possibly link me an article on phone radio's, and maybe a website that shows the differences between some of the popular phones out there?
