Jun 6th 2010 3:02AM i think that in Cata they will be active alright. They've just left a shattered homeland, they'd do a lot to stop this new one from suffering the same faith. And they can do that without taking serious part from the war against the Horde. Plus with Garosh leading the Horde, orcs won't be that different from the berserking tainted orcs who killed so many of them
May 24th 2010 11:08AM Our 10man group was trying on Valithria, and at one pull, after the ready check, while our maintank ran in to pull i wanted to put him into my focus, but instead i misclicked and kick him from the raidgroup. :D
May 11th 2010 1:22AM if they'll add windriders-wyverns to the tamable animals, i'll start a hunter immediately!
Apr 17th 2010 2:37AM Everyone starts to cry when most of the players can get something that was status symbol. But i dont know why, that will be an everyday stuff and new status symbols rise, which remains in the hands of the same people...
Apr 16th 2010 10:19AM i was dreaming about a healing angel (Guradian angel maybe) for my priest. Now my paladin will get it and she's sad, she doesnt wanna get teammates, she can do it alone... But my priest would love an angel...
Apr 15th 2010 9:59AM Why did paladins get angels? I'M dreaming about this spell for years now but for my priest and not for my paladin... it is something priests should do :((( (plus if DK is a negative paladin then lifegrip should go to paladins instead...)
Apr 14th 2010 12:29PM Guardian of Ancient Kings (level 85): Summons a temporary guardian that looks like a winged creature of light armed with a sword. The visual is similar to that of the Resurrection spell used by the paladin in Warcraft III. The guardian has a different effect depending on the talent spec of the paladin. For Holy paladins, the guardian heals the most wounded ally in the area. For Protection paladins, the guardian absorbs some incoming damage. For Retribution paladins, it damages an enemy, similar to the death knight Gargoyle or the Nibelung staff. 3-minute cooldown. 30-second duration (this might vary depending on which guardian appears).
this is something that priests should have gotten... :( (i'm not jealous, i play both class)
Apr 13th 2010 6:31AM i think there will be place for lifegrip for pve (which really should have a better name than leap fo faith, plz, plz). But if it won't? If it mainly goes for PVP? like the knockbackspells? i can live with that even though im not pvping a lot. Plus in ICC all those knockbackspells are needed for saurfang... Lifegrip would work well there too...
Apr 12th 2010 12:57PM now you made me remember how disappointed i was when i started leveling my priest, embraced the idea of changing a world by magical words and then realized the blizz didnt play out the idea... instead of holy word: heal all we have is... heal. I always loved the concept of cantations and any kind of linguistic magic. I think it works well with priests. But then lets not stop halfway, plz!
Apr 12th 2010 1:26AM The real problem, i think really is in the diversity of priest in the game, just like in real life. Most of the "holy" things are christian which doesnt go well with half of the races (and as a draenei priest i think they are not christianlike either). But it really is difficult to do something iconic which fits all the races. I think spirithealer is one of them and the concept of hymns and prayers are as well. Maybe sacrifices, fasts, rituals, meditation are concepts that also could work well. But Chakra doesnt bother me at all. The concept of divine-like energy in the body of the priest is not something that jumps out of the world, except if u only consider the christianity as "real priest" in an rpg.
What i wanted to say is that i'm dreaming of more spells similar to the hymns and spirit healer and named like prayers, and i'M dreaming about spells that brings the mentioned concepts into the game. About the looks: Blizz could look around in the world and check out the looks of priests of different religions and cultures and use those as inspiriation
