Jul 16th 2009 8:28AM My theory having purchased the live tv stream is between the end of September and the first week in October.
My reasoning goes along the lines of Grunty (?) will be released 6 to 8 weeks after the live pay per view event. Could he be released with the patch? Will there be a new NPC to visit to collect him? If so being released with the patch would be a perfect time for deployment. Combine this with the Thanksgiving holiday in November and any changes to the acquisition of the Brewfest mount in October and we have a "good" release window allowing all the hiccups of previous releases and all the qq'ing to be avoided.
Just a guess though :)

Apr 8th 2009 11:53AM I have a question, are there enough quests to get NR Loremaster available out of the box in Wrath.
I've been 80 for some time and have not left a zone until the achievement dinged. However Grizzly Hills has fallen short by about 16 quests and Icecrown by a whopping 50%!
Yes I have completed the group quests and I have looked up on the various sources where the quests are but I still can't find a single damn quest giver in Icecrown that I haven't visited. I am revered with The Ebon Blade and nothing else has showed up in their corner and I think Honoured with Argent Dawn (or is it Crusade?) and I seem to have run out with them. I have even tried a mod that shows where quest givers are and flying around shows the ! just no quests.
Is there anything out there that can track my quest progression and say "Hey you stopped here, tootle on over there and off we go again"? 70 or so quests at say 10g a piece is quite a bit of pocket change and rep I am missing.
Please help and stop this space goat circling Icecrown forever more.
Apr 5th 2009 2:43PM Actually mentioned exactly this in a post about wish lists or something earlier in the week. Bliz are putting schematic drops into Gnomeragan so I suppose it does show that they do think about getting people back into old content.... a little. After all who is it but end game toons that are going to go back and grind for the pet schematics.
Apr 2nd 2009 8:29AM Armour dyes would rock, WAR implemented them and it really gives a sense of cohesion when you pick up a new piece of gear and know that it can look exactly the way you want them. It could give the scribes an extension to their profession too.
I do like the way WAR has trophies that you can attach to armour, another level of customisation that could be tied to achievements or epic rare drops. No boost to stats just a trophy for a job well done.
While I'm singing the improbable want song. How about an armour hall type affair in guild housing. Somewhere to hang that first set of tier armour with pride. As a BS I cried a little inside when my Imperial Plate went the way of the vendor. It was a long hard grind to get all that and to trash it was upsetting.
One last one now that we have instanced zones. How about breathing life back into Gnomeragan? Take one epic quest chain, a long hard grind and at the end of it you have a fledgling city that's rebuilding itself. It would breathe some action back into Azeroth and open the game up for extra expansions based on what is now a dead zone.
Mar 3rd 2009 11:30AM I'm guessing that's yet another little nod to pop culture, Lost in this case.
Feb 24th 2009 11:31AM or is it in fact an arena tournament prize and i should pay attention to what I am typing?
Feb 24th 2009 11:27AM He's being given away for a prize in the EU I believe. That'll be the model for those that win him. Scott and Randy were raving about him on The Instance,
