Why is Blizzard still OK with gender inequality in World of Warcraft? {WoW}

Apr 3rd 2012 4:23PM This topic is a sure way to get more clicks and to show that the writer is awesome in having had people to comment on said article. It's sad really.

The WoW Insider Show Episode 239: Garrosh has that with giant fangs in his face {WoW}

Apr 3rd 2012 10:49AM ROFL @ Tyrande's voice imitation.

As for April 1, I still remember Google announcing Gmail on April 1. Everyone thought it was a joke because they announced that every account will have a 1GB inbox. Was awesome to announce it on that day.

Breakfast Topic: Sightseeing in Pandaria {WoW}

Apr 2nd 2012 8:15AM I've always stopped and admired the scenery while playing WoW, right from classic and through every expansion. Blindly completing quest after quest without reading the quest text and rushing to the level cap can really put a dent in your fun. Actually reading the quest text, soaking in the atmosphere of the zone you're in, and just looking around the environment can really draw you in. Not to mention the sounds....from the music to the little ambient sounds, Blizzard always does a terrific job of making you feel like you're in this other place.

Having seen a few beta livestreams (including Wowinsider's Pandaria run-through, that was awesome btw! Need more! :P) and lots of screenshots and videos, it makes me kinda sad that I'm not experiencing it at this moment since I don't have the beta, but I also know that experiencing it for the first time when the expansion does go live will be great. Can't wait for MoP to go live, it looks to be quite the visual and aural treat.

World map quest markers are good news for Loremasters in Mists of Pandaria {WoW}

Mar 31st 2012 9:41PM "It's worth noting that Pandaria's Loremaster achievements are based on questlines completed, not an actual number of quests, but this should definitely help you track down each "story" to add that tick to your achievement."

Didn't know this, it's a nice change, especially if it means they create quite a few grand questlines that span multiple quests instead of the old-school "kill 10 boars" quests. Although with Nesingwary's Camp back in Pandaria, the periodic extinction of Pandarian wildlife isn't too far away. :P

The Queue: Suffer for fashion {WoW}

Mar 31st 2012 1:13PM We'll have to use our passion, our strength and our power to gain victory so that Pandaria is broken from the chains of the Sha.

Mar 31st 2012 12:12PM As an addendum to the "PH" answer, you'll probably also notice a lot of "NNF"....that stands for Name Not Final.

Mists of Pandaria Beta: New icons make questing a breeze {WoW}

Mar 30th 2012 1:04PM Nice quality of life change I suppose. I personally didn't have any problems finding particular people or objects for quests till now, largely because I used these ocular devices that I have with me at all times.

The Queue: Braggosh Day {WoW}

Mar 30th 2012 11:31AM No, there was no delay. As soon as the expansion went live, you could race change to worgen/goblin provided you had the expansion added to your account.
