Mar 30th 2012 2:19PM Yeah, I have to say, having done Loremaster and several other quest related achievements back when they meant something and enjoying the challenge of actually getting stumped by quests, this feels less like a challenge, which is what a quest is, than just following directions and collecting XP & loot. It's kind of like the difference between LFR and heroic DS - technically the same thing, but one actually requires you to pay attention and will cause some people to give up on that particular challenge, which is "working as intended"
In general, I'd like to see mechanics put into place that slow down the questing / leveling to make it meaningful and stretch out the process to more than a day or two from 85-90 and then a LOT more relevant quests beyond 90, but I guess that's just wishful thinking....
Feb 22nd 2012 6:23AM How boring - we've had rams and mammoths as mounts for a long time. These will just look like a very similar combination of the two.
I'd much rather see some sort of steampunkish rocket sled / copter mount. The Chinese were the first to develop explosives and fireworks, etc. so it would fit in with that.
Jan 15th 2012 9:12AM I'm really surprised how happy everyone seems with this feature, given how little it actually works.
When they first announced transmog way back I simply didn't care about it one way or another, because I pretty much play the game full time at max distance factor where you can barely make out the difference between a gnome and a tauren, much less what they might be wearing
When first released I played with transmog during downtime and was a little more excited and spent some time dusting off old bank items, collecting new stuff and buying some items that I thought would be awesome as a set or individual pieces.
This is where the disappointment set it. 75%+ of items in game can't be transmoged. You just get some random error and nothing else. Why would you put an individualization feature in the game and then limit it to pretty much old tier items, so that well within certain boundaries everyone looks alike again.
I also think transmog should've been tied to an item slot, not an item. So I gotta go through the whole process of finding the old item again everytime I go from T12 to T13 LFR to T13 to T13H and so on? No thanks.
So actually a better idea than what I thought it would be, but a horrible implementation.
Jan 10th 2012 1:14PM Soon? You must have a warped sense of time ... we are WAYS away from MoP - at this point, there is no way to see it come out before half a year from now, likely closer to 8+ months. Regardless, to hold of gearing for anything more than 4 weeks out is doing a great disservice to yourself and any guild / friends you run with. It has become so easy to get up to the basic current ilevel and make playing so much easier and fun.

Nov 23rd 2010 5:25PM I can only repeat over and over again, why not announce a 24 hour downtime for a major patch and if the servers come up after 12, well great, everyone is happy, if not, no harm.
But doing they just insist on doing it back assward like this, it is just bad customer service - announcing a 8 hour service and extending it two, three and 5 more times just riles people up and makes them distrust your capabilities. I would have rather read yesterday on on the login AND logout screen "We'll see you Wednesday morning at 7am" then read a bold faced lie this morning about the game being playable at 2pm.
Communication is key to customer service and Blizz has a great product, but no common sense of customer service.
Nov 23rd 2010 8:51AM Happy Birthday to you and me (tomorrow) - now give me a present?
