Breakfast Topic: What pieces would you like to see included in World of Warcraft Monopoly? {WoW}

Feb 18th 2012 12:09PM 2-3 leaders of each faction.
The 4 bosses from each release
furborg, naga, tuskan, and murloc
mounts would be too hard to choose imo so i would opt for 3 of the aspect dragons

These make more sense to me as far as connection to the game than inantimate objects.
I can see why they choose what they did. They tried to convert original pieces into warcraft pieces but wrong approache imo.

Breakfast Topic: How do you decide which is your main? {WoW}

Jan 3rd 2012 1:19PM I don't have one. I have ten 85's all about equally geared for RF. I really bit off more than i can chew.

I did this because i was a huge diablo 2 fan. I made tons of characters and leveled them up. I tried to make every different type of build and variantion I could and enjoyed it.

When I signed up for wow I saw so much similiarity to d2 that it seemed natural to approach in the same way. boy was i wrong. trying to keep a commitment to 10 tens in the grind that is wow has been a chore at times. it also has its advantages, but trying to explain to others that you dont have a main is difficult. Most of the time they just sort of go mmk and assume your some noob that jumped off the boat with budd.

I must say with each major patch i do tend to have favorites based on how well they perform or new talents. I have always been fond and really better at playing ranged toons though. I always level my hunter up first when expansion hits. They just seem the easiest to level/learn with.

As much as i feel over extended, i do wish i had a slot or two for a worgen or goblin.

Breakfast Topic: What do you think about the new holiday boss style? {WoW}

Dec 27th 2011 9:40AM Sucks completely for those with multiple toons. I dont see an upside to this method at all. This isnt exploring. First there is nothing new to see. Second, how many actually watch their pc for this length of travel? I ride a griffon, grab a drink, watch tv and come back.

It makes me sad when i need to waste my game time with this type of tedium because there is so much more i could be doing in the game that i enjoy.

overall, i estimate my dailies for this period will have been increased by about 20-30 hours most of which will have been riding a griffon and waiting for enough people to kill him.

of course, it is an option. For now my commitment to collecting inspires me to endure. I will likely skip this next year though if my drop rate doesnt increase. so far doing this daily for 10 toons each day has netted me 1 pet and zero daggers. I will not spend that kind of time doing someting tedious for little to no reward.

Arcane Brilliance: Level 80 mage gearing road map, part 2 {WoW}

May 22nd 2010 4:35PM Opinions:

1. skip buying the belt. belts drop early bosses and are often disenchanted due to lack of need.
I bought the belt on almost all my clothies and regret it every time i see it drop in icc25 and watch it de'd.

2. purchase tier gloves and pants last. These drop off VOA bosses and while odds arent great in a given run, you will likely get one or the other if you run each week.

Details on the Alterac Valley bracket changes {WoW}

Sep 23rd 2009 1:16PM I think that comments that proclaim it took half the time to level in AV as it did in northrend only justify the change. It should not be easier to do one way or the other, equal at best. It should be an alternative not a relatively free pass to 80. There are enough people running around in raids now that do not know their class well. Don't roll another character if you are not prepared to do the work to level them up (Play the Game!).

I sent 10 toons to 80 and all before most of the leveling benefits that exist now. Was it boring and tedious at times. No question, however it was a short term investment at least until the next expansion that payed many dividends. These dividends should be earned not given away.

Benefits like:

access to many dailies
access to many professions
increases in profession cd's
addition storage options

I'm sure we can all think of others...

I am all for alternative options for leveling and indeed enjoy pvp and bg's but definitely dont that alternative being the only common sense choice. What would be the point of having quests at all. Those of you that want to skirt the work to level just roll a DK.. most of you probably have ;)
