Apr 4th 2012 11:27AM Yes, Nightstalker increases speed while stealthed but so does Quickening. The reason for not taking Nightstalker is that you are already getting a speed boost from Quickening (which states that is does not stack with most other movement speed increases, thereby making Nightstalker useless)
Apr 4th 2012 11:10AM I was under the impression that Quickening did not stack with the speed boost from Nightstalker. Quickening's tooltip says it does not stack with "most" other movement speed increasing effects so I am just curious if Quickening counteracts the speed boost from Nightstalker?
In most cases you shouldn't need the reduced cooldown on stealth from Nightstalker as it takes 6 seconds to get out of combat anyways. So perhaps those 2 points could be spent elsewhere.
If these two things do stack then please ignore this as I was wrong.
Mar 29th 2012 3:36PM The buff consolidation is fine but it is missing one thing. Who can provide the buff that you are missing?
Sure I can see what buff is missing but who do I need to ask or get into my raid group to get the buff that I am missing? If they can get this into the game then I think this feature would be more worthwhile.
Mar 22nd 2012 2:50PM With this ability the last thing that a warlock needs to be a viable tank will be the ability to dodge/parry. Putting some dodge/parry on warlock tier gear or working some trinkets around and I could see this being possible.
If you look at the talent tree and think of it as a tank you start to see a lot of things which really would be interesting for a tank.
I am excited for this and would be all for warlock being able to be tanks. I can see us using Voidwalker in raids now for bosses. Felguard for AoE trash pulls. Its an interesting dynamic.
Nov 30th 2011 12:42PM Did Firelands get another round of nerfs in 4.3? Our raid group went in last night and noticed things dying much faster. And Ryolith moves soooo much slower now we were making jokes that he needed a walker.
Anyone else notice this?

If you look at the new abilities in the "tanking" trees (& the cataclysm ones) you will see that all the tanking classes have the "reduces your chance to be crit by 6%". I reference the warrior tanking talent Bastion of Defense:
Yes you are right that in cataclysm they made it so that tanks are uncritable by bosses.... and reducing your chance to be crit by 6% is how they did it.
Sure originally when I rolled a warlock it was to cast spells and control demons. But Blizzard is opening a whole new window here of opportunity and way to play my class. I can still play the ranged caster but now........ now there could be a whole new way to play my class and that excites me.
Nov 23rd 2011 1:22PM Question:
So after looking at the new talents for warlocks I see that being in demon form (Metamorphosis) reduces your chance to be crit by 6%. A common theme for tank classes. There also seem to be a lot of talents which if you think of the warlock as a tank, go really well with being a tank.
Do you think we are going to be seeing warlock tanks in MoP? What are these "various demonic abilities" we get from being in demon form? Could one of these abilities be a taunt?
After looking through it all the only things that seem to be missing is the ability to "dodge" and the ability to "taunt". Demonic fury sounds a little like vengeance. There are A LOT of damage reduction abilities. And why would we get a 6% reduced chance to be crit?
My tinfoil hat is ready and waiting.
Oct 25th 2011 3:26PM Why are so many resources being spent on sending our heroes & armies overseas & to other worlds, when back in Stormwind & Orgrimmar players still lack sufficient housing.
I have no twitter so wanted to contribute. I'm not a big advocate for player housing, but thought this to be funny. :)
Oct 17th 2011 11:47AM An answer to this with screen shots would be great! I could see this being an addon column. I want to do more on the PTR but copying my addons and then resetting everything up does not excite me at all. Also I'm looking to get a new computer and being able to copy my addons & setting to that new hard drive would be great.
Oct 7th 2011 2:36PM Actually in your case you would roll need on the item. You would not get the "Role Bonus" but it would make it so you didn't have to compete against people rolling greed.
Essentially what this system sets up is a way to roll for "off-spec". By rolling need you will automatically beat the other classes rolling greed but you won't "steal" the item from those rolling for their "main-spec". I personally think this idea is a good one and can't wait to try it out.
