Feb 24th 2009 12:53PM Will the Stoneclaw Shield be buffed by the Earth's Grasp talent?
Feb 24th 2009 11:55AM With the proper build, and utilizing the new Riptide, Earth Shield, and Stoneclaw Totem glyphs, a well-played resto shaman may see a significant boost to their short-term PVP survivability. A mitigation shield with four times the health of a talented Stoneclaw Totem may potentially absorb nearly 10000 damage.
It's not a bubble, but it would help in a pinch. I like it.
Jan 21st 2009 1:51PM Garona must hit the Ab-Flex pretty hard to have a midsection like that immediately after giving birth.
Jan 7th 2009 3:25PM You’d be amazed how well “The Sound of Music” can complement almost any WoW scenario. PVPing to the “Lonely Goat Herder” induces a crazed bloodlust that not even Sammy Davis Jr’s “Candyman” can match. Nothing can compare to “A Few of My Favorite Things” for turning those post-wipe frowns upside down.
In larger raids, I prefer Basil Poledouris’ Conan the Barbarian score, almost any Tarantino movie soundtrack, old Duran Duran/Power Station, Holst, and drunken brawl 1970s honky-tonk Country (Hank Williams Jr, Jerry Reed, Waylon Jennings, etc.)
Dec 8th 2008 3:13PM You don't want to to be compelled to participate in activities you dislike (heroics/raids) for the sole purpose of remaining competitive in an area that does appeal to you (PVP).
Now you know how the BG junkies feel. Within eight weeks of the season 5 kick-off, BG enthusiasts who choose not to participate in the arena will be relegated to cannon fodder.
At least your situation will resolve itself in another week.
Nov 7th 2008 10:55AM I agree. December 16th is too early. As before, the deck will be stacked against those who don't commence their rated matches with the starting bell.
Those who quickly grind to 80 will obtain their BG and Wintergrasp gear while normal mortals are still enjoying the scenery at level 76. By the time normal players reach 80, the powergrinders will have a insurmountable gear and rating advantage that will only grow larger each week.
It could turn into a repeat of Season 4, where average players, knowing that most gear is out of reach, tire of serving as someone else's cannon fodder.
I think the second week of January would be a better start date.
