Jul 29th 2009 8:19PM I'm pretty sure this is stating the obvious, but over the past few weeks there have been several blue posts hinting that Blizz has something planned for BGs and that they will share more info about their plans at Blizzcon. I could only guess what that may or may not imply, but I would like to assume that BGs will become a much bigger emphasis for end-game PVP in the future.

Jun 25th 2009 12:52PM Sean just asked this, and I will tell you what I told him. Some of us "casuals" join raid pugs. Not a problem (usually) for Naxx/OS/VoA. Gear becomes an issue for Ulduar, and would be a bigger issue for the new raid if it weren't for this change. Blizzard wants more people to see their end-game content. Simple as that.
Jun 25th 2009 12:44PM Sean-
I consider myself fairly casual (i.e. i don't raid regularly). Sometimes on my days off I like to try my hand at pug raids. Not a problem for VoA, Naxx, OS. However, RNG hates me and as such I am not really geared for Ulduar (yes Ulduar pugs happen on my server, yes they are fairly successful). The emblem change will allow me to get geared enough for Ulduar AND the new instance that I would like to see. Blizzard has stated that they would like to see more people see their end-game content. This will help bridge that gap.

Feb 18th 2009 1:16PM Doesn't really excuse his attitude or behavior. Defend all you want, d-bag is d-bag. Of course I'm sure you don't give a rip but ignorant attitudes like this just flare me up :D
