The Queue: April Lovefool's Day {WoW}

Apr 1st 2012 4:35PM I remember the beta forums for Cata. There was a span on a few days that it wouldn't allow you to post on there. (Right around the time I had issues with character transfers.) But at any rate, when the forums were working, they never bothered to search for topics then and there was A LOT less people in the Cata beta. Who says 100k+ people would be any better?

In the same topic, they really should limit what people can post on the forums. Instead they should bring back the feedback system. Someone, hopefully a team is monitoring what feedback is given. It would be a great tool to weed out the people that's just there to play the game before anyone else. If Blizzard notices you don't provide feedback, they revoke the beta key and let the rest of the million people in.

Their way, we'll get to see when the beta servers break. And I'll find it hilarious when people log into the beta server and they have to sit through a queue. Someone on the server is disconnected because of an actual bug, they try to log in again to recreate it and then they have to sit through a queue. The plan is genius!

Warlock's green fire is not coming at release in MoP, no timetable {WoW}

Mar 27th 2012 6:05PM "This obviously takes time, and that time is better put to other things for now." Using that idea, then really nothing would ever get done in this game. There is always something going on that needs attention. Yet somehow they managed flying in the old world, druid bears and cats got new skins, dwarf shaman get their own totems.

Yeah, doing anything takes time. But that excuse, "This obviously takes time, and that time is better put to other things for now." Is a very weak argument.

Green fire will get done when it gets done. If they do intend to implement it via quests, great, I would love it if we get a great questline to replace our mount questline. I will be pissed however if it takes them multiple patches or expansions and then just lets us toggle an option.

The Queue: Beta questions make good Queue questions {WoW}

Mar 24th 2012 10:42PM No, my thing is since they are basically changing a lot if items for inscription, that they change the profession window also. Merge parts with reagents. Merge quests with other. I'm sure they are going to remove the relics section because we won't be able to equip them. We can all agree that there are too many subcategories in the window.

Mar 24th 2012 6:44PM I know it's way too early and it will definitely change later on, but with the removal of prime glyphs, have they reworked/simplified the Inscription profession window? I can't be the only person that is irritated with 30, or however many there are, subcategories in the profession window.

Beta Testing 101: What to, and what not to, expect from the MoP beta {WoW}

Mar 24th 2012 6:38PM Some things do get fixed when it's reported in beta, not all but some. In Cata's beta, everything I reported on was apparently fixed because I didn't experience them in the live game. In the live game I couldn't see under the world in the Shrine of Goldrinn, I didn't get dropped off in midair and watch the alliance battleship fly off without me in Deepholm, I could see my Netherwing mount's wings.

The last one. Freaked me out every time I mounted in the beta. Netherwing mounts need wings...

How I made 3,000 gold by level 30 {WoW}

Mar 22nd 2012 11:31PM I made 1.5k on a new alt I started a week ago. And I never bothered to check what the gear I sold looked like. I just ended up killing 2-5 rares per zone and just had a bunch of greens to auction.

Mists of Pandaria beta opt-in and official FAQ {WoW}

Mar 21st 2012 3:48AM Same for me, I didn't get into Wrath beta, but got into Cata beta. It did mess up my experience slightly. I play four different classes. You kind of get tired of running the same zones that many times. And to be a good beta tester, they release a new build, you run those same quests again because they changed something.

And getting picked for beta has a lot to do with your PC specs. Along with a lot of people checking for bugs, they need a wide variety of PC setups. One video card may experience bugs when a different video card doesn't.

Feb 6th 2012 12:29AM And if anyone thinks this is a half decent idea, post it on the forums. I can't because my subscription expired, so I can't post anywhere except the technical support forum.
