Sep 12th 2011 4:21AM Just a question that kinda bugs me recently: Were shamans in the vanilla WoW meant to be originally another Tank class? I'm talking about the times when only Horde could have them, while all Paladins were on the Alliance side.
There are few things that could prove my little theory: Shamans can use shield, their armor is quite decent, rockbitter works similar to Righteous Fury etc.
Jul 26th 2011 8:11PM With such huge boost to Death strike, is Blood now THE PVP spec? I've seen blood DK in arenas absolutely unkillable by anything that couldn't kite them. Frost while still working pretty well lots quite a bit of its burst (which is not such bad thing, since it was far to OP)
Jun 22nd 2011 4:43PM Dear Queue: I was trying to get the Midsummer title for my level 72 alt. All went well until I had to queue for the Ahune: while there is such option from Earth Ring Elder in reality it puts you into random dungeon queue. I tried to go personally to Slave Pens but it was in "normal", not "holiday" mode. So is there a way to get the title on lower level character?
May 4th 2011 5:58PM "Sort of a leader" is a good way to put it. But now, after restoring the Sunwell they are far too happy basking in the resurge of their favourite drug: magic. So I doubt they will do much... unless they got munchies.
May 4th 2011 7:00AM Well, we are not talking here about high level arena but about STARTING a pvp character. In lower levels pets are dealing pretty decent share of your total DPS and their abilities set on auto are working pretty good.
Of course, later on it will require bit more management - proper macros and pressing the right button at the right moment - but the learning curve is much easier in case of those classes.

May 4th 2011 12:32AM Just 2 pennies from me: If you are not great at pvp and you would like to create designated toon for that, trying a pet class might be the right thing to do: Frost mage, warlock, unholy DK and of course hunter. I'm not saying there are "better" but probably easier to start with.

Lets follow your logic: Why people choose to stay as persecuted religion minority? Simplifying, because they believe they faith is true, and they will receive reward in heaven.
Now how would you like to use the same logic to someone choosing being gay? They don't believe in reward in afterlife (or in current life), yet they are what they are, what else, they have usually they life is much worse (i.e. having problem legalizing their relationship) Insane you say? But can you choose to be "insane"? And in this case you can't be "cured", even if (believe me) many people would love to.
You can't choose to be homosexual. You can choose to lie to yourself and pretending to be happy in heterosexual relationship, that in longer run hurts everybody you care about.
Feb 24th 2011 2:52PM Please, please tell me there will be hints of some sort of insurrection in Horde against Hellscream! Whenever I see this arrogant, ugly idiot my forsaken wants to join Alliance
Feb 19th 2011 9:01PM When I came back to Cata I was pretty sure that fire would be at best good for instances, since it provides no survivability. PVP as a fire was in my opinion putting a "" under your name. But then I decided to give it a go... and I love it!
The mobility is amazing - scorch, Living bomb, fireblast and even pyro from hot streak - all that makes fights so much fun! I admit is bit unpredictable - on the same fight (crown chemical co.) I managed to score as high as 12k (I'm level 84, so IT IS high for me) or as low as ~ 5k DPS, all depending from the group composition and RNG.
On the bad side, there are two "annoying" talents in fire tree that promise a lot but are hard to use: combustion and pyromaniac. First one in practice forces you to use specialized addon (combustion helper), second will work only if you have 3+ mobs in one fight, which is much less often that you might think thanks to widespread usage of crowd control.
