Officers' Quarters: How different is too different? {WoW}

Aug 22nd 2011 3:04PM To answer your last question: No. You don't need heroic T11 gear to be successful in T12, whether you're hardcore or casual.

Given the scenario you describe in your post, it sounds like there may be something going in your guild that may be contributing to your lack of Firelands success.

Breakfast Topic: What was your first addon? {WoW}

Aug 20th 2011 11:41PM Aren't you a delightful chap!

Is it possible that maybe you need to use mend pet a bit more? :)

Addon Spotlight: Blizzard's built-in raid profiles {WoW}

Jul 7th 2011 2:15PM I think I would use this type of setup, too (the standard Blizzard raid frames plus my macros for healing) BUT I can't seem to make the Blizzard frames transparent.

The Queue: No really, it's a fake {WoW}

Jul 5th 2011 1:38PM I hope Vashj'ir doesn't become an empty, neglected zone due to the continuing storyline in Hyjal. I loved Vashj'ir and definitely prefer it. =(

I'm still hoping for a raid in the Abyssal Maw.

Jun 14th 2011 11:39PM Wind Shear (as opposed to Hex) is what I came here to post. No reason to use an ability that requires a cast time PLUS a long CD if an instant will do. I simply tab-target in Cho'gall and end up getting one of the MC's every time (provided I'm not MC'd!).

The Classifieds: Truly epic, real-life jewelcrafter creates Horde pendant {WoW}

Jun 2nd 2011 12:37AM I agree 100%. It's jewelery... it's a personal preference. I actually really like it. I think it's pretty darn awesome looking.

Regardless of your opinion, the hate in this thread on the necklace is kind of outrageous.

Reader UI of the Week: Naina's UI and comfortable clutter {WoW}

May 31st 2011 11:24AM This will probably be a "thumbs down" answer, but I have it enabled because I like the way it looks. :) I think you'll find a lot of people like seeing it... just because it's there. Just the way a lot of DPS like seeing the damage numbers.

The Queue: Claudia Shepard {WoW}

May 27th 2011 12:18PM Never heard it referred to as "Trial of the Rennfaire" before but that's pretty funny. :) Good one!

Patch 4.2 PTR notes updated for May 26 {WoW}

May 27th 2011 8:34AM I would say it really depends on the tank. Our raiding group has a feral druid and a warrior tank. If anything, I'd say the feral druid is slightly easier to heal, even though the warrior's gear is better.

That being said, I think "ease of healing" also depends on the fight and what type of damage is being dished out on the tanks. Making blanket statements like, "Warriors and paladins are easier to heal," isn't necessarily true, nor it is helping anyone.
