Mar 5th 2012 6:06PM I'd post a witty comment about Godfrey utilising his ghouls and cursed bullets, of which Arcurion couldn't dodge at the end, and such but Arcurion is, in my opinion, the weakest boss in Cataclysm.
Then again, maybe that's just post-Mannoroth syndrome.
Mar 5th 2012 1:24PM I'm in a similar position as head of a social guild with a raiding team, and making a band of officers who I trust to fulfil some of my duties is something I simply cannot regret. World of Warcraft is a game after all and it's important to find some time to play yourself.
If you enjoy PvP, here's a tip. Roll a member of the opposite faction, join Tol Barad and take out any extra frustration on members of your guild. It's somewhat satisfying.
Mar 3rd 2012 8:24PM I raid, RP and PvP. If an RP event is going on when a guild raid is scheduled (I lead a social PvE guild) then I'll just go to the raid.
One advantage of being in a PvE guild while roleplaying is that people don't meta-game and make assumptions about your character. If your character isn't wearing a tabard, even better.

Feb 27th 2012 5:17PM I'd have to give it to Asira. While it'd be a fairly even fight between her and Varo'then, he'd have less health and Choking Smoke Bomb would be enough to finish him off.
Mannoroth gets pierced by the sword. There's a fair amount of time before the first adds would appear, and they're probably not smart enough to block the daggers from Mark of Silence, meaning Mannoroth would spend most of his time fighting Illidan. On the offchance he'd get a Fel Inferno off, there's Choking Smoke Bomb - which by the way he probably wouldn't move out of. This fight is more one-sided than it appears, but there is a minor chance for victory for Mannoroth.
It depends on Thrall. Is Thrall smart enough to block the daggers? He probably wouldn't, considering Mannoroth's size.
So as said above, I'd give it to Asira. It'd be a long fight but she has the toolbox to do it - and I doubt her minions would be powerful enough to break through her Blade Barrier, or move out of her Choking Smoke Bomb.
Feb 27th 2012 5:13PM As said above, it's the Mannoroth in this version of the instance. Plus, there's nothing about only people who use mana being silenced - I get silenced on my rogue all the time.
Feb 24th 2012 12:42PM I dare say the prospect of not being screamed at in Italian in heroics or LFR is something of great interest to me.
Feb 20th 2012 5:07PM Azshara's battlemages are faithfully devoted to her and willing to give their lives: it's a safe assumption that they could handle the ice phase with ease, especially considering some are trained in frost magic. It's not really anything that affects the mechanics, but it'd be fun for them to yell.
The lightning phase would have to be possible with two/three people (if Azshara herself even moves the entire fight - she's immune to damage after all) out of fairness, and I doubt the magi would have much trouble with that.
It comes down to timing. I'm going to assume that her Servant of the Queen is forbidden here, otherwise she'd be able to control Hagara shortly before completely dominating her (with Total Obedience, it's not that sort of fight).
Long story short, I'd give this one to Azshara as she's most likely clever enough to use Total Obedience WHILE HAGARA IS STUNNED AFTER A LIGHTNING/FROST PHASE. That's the key thing here.
Feb 14th 2012 5:25PM I'm sorry, but I'll be passing on this unless I win it or a generous friend is stumped for a birthday present.
It's just a shame that unique, beautiful-looking models like this cost extra, whereas heroic/dungeon/loremaster achievements give reskins or less.
ACTIVISION! *shakes fist*
