Sep 29th 2010 2:54PM I disagree that Doomhammer was furious with Gul'Dan because he denied him victory against the Alliance. He was furious with him because Gul'Dan and his followers put their own needs and lust for power above the needs of the Horde. This he saw as a betrayal to their honor and he sent the Blackhand brothers after him "because their people's honor was at stake" (ToD book, paperback edition pg 288-289)

Aug 30th 2010 8:41AM Didn't he also say that he believed it was possible that he was insane and just imagining everything?
Jul 7th 2010 12:50PM If they are making this many changes, why don't they just make WOW 2?
May 30th 2010 3:24AM "Along with writing, the humans introduced the dwarves to the idea of the Holy Light, teaching them how to become both priests and paladins and use the Light in much the same way as humans do"
This could be bad reader comprehension by me, but didn't they technically only teach them to become priests, since the paladin order was only founded shortly before the Second War?
"Chief Thane Kurdran was one of the great heroes of the Second War, credited with slaying nine black dragons and countless orcs"
At this stage of the Second War (Tides of Darkness), the orcs were using RED dragons (with the whole Dragonmaw - Alexstraza thing). Black Dragons were used after Alexstraza was freed and Deathwing made that deal with Gorefiend (Beyond the Dark Portal).
Jan 28th 2010 1:26AM Wasn't the Skull of Gul'Dan needed to open the portal to Azeroth again or something? I vaguely remember BtDP saying something like that (or maybe I'm just confusing things).
Jan 13th 2010 5:11AM As a Hunter, I apologize for this behaviour. Please remember that not all the hunters are like this and things like this give the rest of us a bad name.
Jan 11th 2010 8:32AM I farm old reputation. I already got Timbermaw hold and the Mag'har at exalted using this method (yes, I am DPS).

"Gul'dan cut up elven runestones that existed to help keep the Burning Legion at bay in order to make his Altars of Storms and create the two-headed ogres, including Cho'Gall."
Cho'Gall was already a two-headed ogre when the Horde attacked Stormwind the first time (when Gul'dan awakened from his coma in the ToD book it's clearly mentioned that he has two heads), so he wasn't created by the Altars of Storms. Hell, he even helped set up the first one...
