The Guild season 2 finale {WoW}

Feb 17th 2009 2:44PM I want a guild names the "Thanes of Hooliganism".

My bet is it wont fit.

Breakfast Topic: Sunday best {WoW}

Feb 8th 2009 9:57AM One thing I want introduced to the game is a chefs hat. I have the title (it the only one I really wanted) and I want a hat to go with it. Nothing would be better then a plate wearing chef in the middle of a dungeon, cooking gnome.

World of Warcraft no longer legally for sale in Australia {WoW}

Feb 4th 2009 7:48PM I am a true blue, fair dinkim Australian. I live in Central Queensland and play WoW way too much.

I couldn't believe this article and I checked my game box (the one I bought 3 long years ago) and there is no Australian Classification information on the box. The ESRB "T for Teen" label is there and usually they slap an Aussie "PG 13" sicker over the top of it.

I then phoned my local EB Games outlet and asked them if they where selling it and they are! They could sell me WoW and both expansion packs (they where out of game cards though, the bastards).

Don't believe all you read!

Local news on WoW lingo {WoW}

Feb 2nd 2009 8:23PM Well there goes another load of clap-trap.

I know that there is a lot of terminology used in WoW that is foreign to people who are unfamiliar with the game and it takes you five times as long to explain anything to a non-WoWer but this is the same within professions and hobbies too. Many teachers I know will tell each other work stories using the lingo of their job, same goes with most tradespeople, but they don't report on their 'secret language'.

While I'm certain it was a slow news day in the Bay Area, this really isn't worthwhile reporting, good journalism or even news. Go find a high speed chase or a convenience store robbery to talk about and leave us alone. All we want to do is kill dragons with mice. Is it too much to ask?

Rumor: Activision Blizzard paying mall costs for Gamestop midnight launches {WoW}

Nov 10th 2008 7:17PM Working nights at a bakery in Australia means I get home from work in time for the American evenings. This means I get to play with my Yankee cousins (NB. I don't care if your from the south) but this also means that the midnight launch at my local EB Games is happening just before I go to work! I hope it will be all install by the time I get home.

I also secured a collectors edition so I'll be set.
