May 2nd 2009 1:56AM On Argent Dawn EU, the prevailing Horde attitude seems to be lolololol pwn for 5 honor. WSG and AB were relatively easy to get; I got damn lucky in EOTS with 13v3 where the three of us with orphans basically stood at the flag waiting for respawns (never even saw a Horde). Have run AV about 7 times now and only even REACHED a tower once (only to have an Alliance mage w/o and orphan blink ahead to get the tower).
Would LOVE to see some Alliance/Horde cooperation but it seems to be all about the lolpwn. Le sigh.
Mar 10th 2009 7:31PM Call me retarded, but I thought Aotona was already tameable since Loque and Krush are. D:
Mar 10th 2009 7:30PM All the other MMOs I've played with the exception of Vanguard (SWG, EQ2, LOTRO) have had player housing. It's the one thing MMO-ish I miss in WoW.
If Blizz eventually implements it, great. If not, oh well. I'll still play.
Mar 10th 2009 7:24PM Dunno what the some of the criticism for this guild is. I think they sound lovely and wish there were more of them around. The guild I'm in has a similar credo--social raid guild for players with families who want to make the most of what little raid time we DO have.
Mar 4th 2009 9:00PM This. My husband is not a computer/gaming person AT ALL. If he played too we either would never have had our son or he'd be feral or something.
I love WoW, but I realize how easily addictive it is, and am actually somewhat glad my husband doesn't play so he can help keep me grounded. Plus my son is just too adorable to ignore for long. ^^
Mar 4th 2009 8:23PM The alt scammer is on Argent Dawn EU as well. I've known two people to be targeted so far (one messaged the guild leader's alt claiming to be the guild leader, so epic fail there; the other just got laughed at).
I wonder if this is just people reading about the scam and saying "hey, that's a good idea" or an organized deal.
Mar 1st 2009 12:02AM I had to take the Meyer-Briggs as part of a training course I took for work, and I am an INFJ, which apparently is the rarest of all the MB personality types. (Made me feel like a freak!)
All I can say about my gaming experience is that I tend to gravitate towards ranged DPS. In Galaxies I was a rifleman; in EQ2 I was a ranger; and here in WoW my most-played characters are a warlock and a hunter. For some reason I just have never taken to being a healer, tank, or even melee dps really. I don't think that makes me lazy, as one commenter said he/she views dpsers; that's just the play style I prefer.
(FWIW, the only time I've played a non-ranged DPS class and loved it was my Champion in LOTRO. LOVED that class. Miss the game a lot (had to pick a game to unsub due to financial strain and I picked LOTRO. Hope to be able to pick it back up again someday.))
Feb 27th 2009 12:46PM Running 25man VoA and getting excited because you finally see a hunter drop (the pvp gloves), which you win. And then being so happy about finally winning some lewt (any loot), you completely miss rolling for your 7.5 chestpiece. D:
Feb 27th 2009 12:44PM I'm pretty convinced that Loque knows when you're looking for him (and refuses to show), so I quit the hardcore hunt and would do two zone passes a day, before and after doing the Oracle dailies.
I got him a little under a week ago. During my pass I saw King Krush, so I ran back to unstable my pet, killed him, got Northern Exposure achievement. Restabled pet, continued my pass for kicks, and, right at the western gorilla spawn point, there was Loque. Tamed him less than five minutes after killing Krush. O_o
I'm pretty sure I used up all my good karma for the next month that day. Got Krush, Loque, the Higher Learning Achievement, Champion of the Frozen Wastes, and the critter and pest achievements. Yoinks.

"Makes raids accessible to everyone? just let the nooblets play in naxx while we destroy arthas."
I pay the same amount of money per month that you do for this game. Therefore I have every right to experience Arthas too.
