Feb 16th 2009 4:30PM I dont see how this would change things much, you already have hybrid classes taking gear for their off set if nobody wants for main. The only real difference is those people wont be paying to respec durring the week.
My guild uses a DKP system, bids for main spec (what you came as), 2dkp per ilvl, if no one wants, it goes to offspec (prot pallys bidding on healing gear, trees bidding on feral pieces if none of us rogues wanted, etc) for 1dkp/ilvl, nobody wants, DEd and thrown in the guild bank for purchase with gold or DKP.
Feb 11th 2009 2:13PM Whats funny is, for the longest time they kept saying, we need to buff PVE without making rogues OP in PVP, but we dont know how to do that.
Then they come along with this, straight +10% haste in pve, which is pretty much a +5-7% buff depending on spec, and even more once you factor in poison procs. I gotta check WWS from last night, but as HAT, i went from normally 5-6 place on Maly to 2nd (in the first 2 phases, i was 3rd overall after we downed him).
These changes were pretty much a straight PVE buff and PVP nerf for mut rogues.

Feb 6th 2009 8:48AM The dragonhawk mounts are just too small, they look odd, especially since youre sitting on its head and not on its back.
Havnt really started on this one, but im at 67 mounts at the moment, just from NR ones and finishing up Skyguard even after id gotten my albino drake.
Need 14 more non-combat pets for the other one, i dont know where im gonna get those...
Feb 5th 2009 3:46PM If i had to guess id say its a function of latency probably. You pop vanish as the mob attacks, your client registers the attack and drops you out of vanish before the server registers that you vanished and can drop the mobs aggro.
I've heard of this bug forever, but if thats what theyre talking about, i guess i never even really noticed and always just assumed that one mob still attacking me had a DOT up or something. Minor annoyance at worst.

But also as a Resto shaman, woooooo! Very nice totem changes, not as nice as some of the ideas that were tossed around when they asked for input, but 2 less buttons on my action bars is always nice.
Feb 4th 2009 9:28PM Yeah, i farmed a ton of eternal lifes and bought all the herbs i could to make my Nobles deck when i hit 80, wound up having to sell a couple dozen stacks of Ink of the Sea. The changes with 3.0.8 for free Snowfall ink woulda saved me thousands of gold worth of herbs probably.

Feb 3rd 2009 2:54PM I've been raiding as HAT since 3.0.1, it doesnt take as much group stacking as you think, just get me a hunter or two in my group and im G2G. Last night i was #2 on the meters on Maly25 with a Hunter, a Enchance Shammy, a combat rogue and a mut rogue. Did similar DPS in naxx25 last week with a hunter, a ret pally, a 2h Fr/UH DK and a boomkin.
It is a 25man raid spec, it lacks in 10s and heroics, but all you really need is to not get stuck with the tanks or a couple healers in your group (or casters) and youre able to keep up. I should also note that im a bit undergeared compared to everyone else i raid with. Just joined the guild and only have 2 pieces of ilvl213 gear.
