Nov 8th 2011 11:01AM That looks like a pretty neat Thrall figure for a block. :)
Oct 28th 2011 4:36PM My question was more with the pet battle system which sounds almost exactly like Pokemon. When Blizzard announced it during Blizzcon, I thought, "are they going to be able to do this as they're are expressing and not get sued by Nintendo?" Sure the games themselves are different, but the entire system of catching pets, battling them turn based, and challenging masters sounds a little too close.
Oct 20th 2011 6:51PM Another quick correction for you, the Hyacinth Macaw dropped off Bloodsail mobs in Strangelthorne, not Defias. If you were farming it, you had to wait either before or after your attempts to do Bloodsail Admiral. Again, that's all kind of moot, since you can get it off pretty much anything in Strangelthorne now assuming luck is on your side.
Oct 20th 2011 2:54PM When deciding on new class abilities, how do they come to the decision of what to add?
Oct 19th 2011 5:50PM Pandaran Monk hero class able to choose allegiance. That would be crazy bold for Blizzard to do, and if they go Pandaran, that would be the way to do it.
Oct 18th 2011 11:32AM I plan to ride my flying horse to Blizzcon. . . err. . . if I had a real flying horse anyway. I suppose tickets to Blizzcon would be good too.
Oct 17th 2011 2:11PM The popularity of all Blizzard's games have been due to their catering to as large of an audience as possible. They set out to create games that any player can pick up, play, and get running with it. I think their years of success with WoW is testiment to their ability, and I think they will continue to ratchet the game to make an MMO with the accessability of a consol game.
Oct 17th 2011 1:05PM Either Anduin or Jaina will die. Both are too diplomatic, and the death of either would put major tension between Alliance and Horde.
Oct 8th 2011 3:02PM I think the problem they had with the bug look of 2.5 was that the bright colors made it look more like power rangers. They didn't have as many texturing tools then as they do now. Imagine, if you will, a tier where we fight old gods and insects again, and our armor is more in line with the cool/more natural colors of insects. Instead of crazy vizors, we get helms made of spider mandibles, and instead of bright robes, fabric made of wings. I think the idea has potential, especially with direction we've been taking with armor designs recently.
Oct 5th 2011 12:08PM I'd create a new column: RL Tank: Balancing Real World Needs with WoW
