Nov 25th 2009 8:35PM Please sir, can I have more? Mounts that is...
Oct 25th 2009 8:58PM I used to use ATSW, but dropped in favour of Skillet when opening my Inscription window would cause WoW to lock up for at least a minute and respond slowly after that. This was on a 3yo PC and it still happened when I upgraded in April so out it went.
After using it for a while, Skillet has some features that are nicer than ATSW, the highlighted ATSW AH window showing the list of items in your queues is a movable window which works better than the fixed ATSW version which blocks some Auctioneer tabs (yes I know it is closable). Also the window appears when you open a bank and has a button to retrieve all the items in the list from the bank which can make things a lot quicker.
Overall they are both good addons but Skillet works better at the moment, but I will see if there are any updates to make ATSW better in the future and will try them out.
Jun 2nd 2009 2:46AM Could be 12:01 AM because someone who doesn't know if 12:00 AM is midday or midnight complained that maintenance wasn't when they thought it should be...
May 5th 2009 8:04AM Woot, which one of these is annoying as a train set that I could take to a raid? :-)
Mar 1st 2009 9:26PM The issue with this is that Classic WoW has some huge quest chains that span multiple zones, unless you get lucky and look in the zone where it starts you will be going through the same zones that you "cleared" of quests doing these chains. Best examples I can think of while at work are Missing Diplomat, which is at least 4-5 zones, Verigan's Fist and the Warrior armour. Linkin's Sword was the longest chain I think I have done, Un'goro ->Winterspring -> Un'goro -> SW/IF -> Winterspring -> Tanaris... I only ever finished it on one character and that was only because I was using Jame's Alliance Levelling Guide.
Dec 14th 2008 6:32PM I know what you mean, I tanked a H VH the other day and got Erekem as the first boss, the DPS was that poor that the next portal had opened before we downed the boss. I was 2nd on DPS behind a hunter and the mage in the group was only putting out 750 dps (and he wanted to go to heroics...).
With a good tank, healer and dps, heroics are made to look easy so undergeared people think "Why do normals when heroics are so easy" and don't realise they should be in normals first.
I didn't step inside a normal until I had 535 def and it was so hard to find DPS to go to a normal.
Dec 10th 2008 6:48PM The funny thing is that people actually do that.
I searched Google the other day for guides for feral druids and found a page that was a summary post about druids from WowInsider but it was on another site and had none of the links to the relevant posts. Copy and paste FTL...
Nov 11th 2008 6:17PM If you can pass one my way, I would be very happy :-D
